If you’re familiar with Sakamoto Days, you know that the Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA) is home to some seriously dangerous characters. But there’s one group that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Order. These assassins aren’t just strong—they’re practically legendary. With power and skill that could make even the most fearless hesitate, their presence is impossible to ignore.
In this list, we’ll break down the top thirteen strongest members, both current and former, of The Order, from the ones who command attention to the ones who rule it.
13Tanabata
The wild card. Unpredictable, unconventional, and completely unhinged. Tanabata fights with a chaotic style that keeps even the strongest assassins guessing. He might not be the most disciplined fighter, but his sheer unpredictability makes him dangerous, as he doesn’t follow any traditional combat logic. Whether his unpredictability is intentional or not is still up in the air.
12Oki
Oki’s the current head of the Order, and no one dares to challenge his authority. If someone like Shishiba doesn’t even see him as a threat, then that just means Oki is operating on a completely different level. We haven’t seen his full power yet—but when we do, it’s going to be terrifying. His leadership isn’t based on brute force alone—he’s a strategist who understands how to control the balance of power within the assassin world.
11Osaragi
Osasragi fights like she’s in an action movie, a whirlwind of destruction, tearing through enemies with zero hesitation. While she comes across as childish and playful, her instincts in battle are razor-sharp. She has an almost…unsettling enthusiasm for combat, making it difficult to tell whether she’s taking a fight seriously or just enjoying herself. Either way, she’s always dangerous.
10Torres
One of the Order’s latest recruits, Torres’ built like a tank and fights like one too. He doesn’t even bother dodging attacks—he just takes them head-on. His crazy endurance and monstrous strength make him a nightmare in close combat. While some assassins rely on speed or technique, Torres relies on sheer brute force, breaking through defenses with overwhelming power. His presence alone is enough to intimidate most opponents.
9Kanaguri
Kanaguri is what you can call—the director of death. He doesn’t just kill—he makes it cinematic. This ex-Order member sees every battle as a film scene and uses his deadly clapboard to end fights in an instant. While his obsession with creating the “perfect shot” seems eccentric, it’s actually a terrifying advantage—he’s always thinking several steps ahead, as if choreographing the entire fight before it even happens.
8Kamihate
This phantom sniper has made a total appearance of zero if you really think about it. He’s a ghost—silent, invisible, and impossibly accurate. If Kamihate’s got you in his sights, you’re already dead. No one knows his full potential, but the fact that the Order keeps him around speaks volumes. He prefers to operate from the shadows, eliminating targets before they ever realize they’re being hunted. His precision is unmatched, making him the perfect assassin for long-range kills.
7Satoru Yotsumura
Once a founding member of the Order, Yotsumura is a battle-hardened assassin who’s been through it all. He moves like a ghost and fights like a demon, but years of regret weigh him down. He possesses an incredible level of experience, which allows him to analyze and dismantle his opponents with precision. Even though he’s older, he remains one of the most formidable assassins in the world.
6Hyo
Hyo doesn’t need weapons—his fists do enough damage on their own, basically a human wrecking ball. He once walked off an MRI machine like it was a backpack, and his durability is just as ridiculous as his strength. He has a more laid-back personality compared to some of his colleagues, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous. His sheer physical power allows him to overwhelm opponents before they have a chance to react.
5Kindaka
In his prime, not even Sakamoto and Nagumo could keep up with the fastest assassin alive. Kindaka’s speed was his greatest weapon, but age eventually caught up with him. Even slowed down, though, he’s still fast enough to put most assassins six feet under before they realize what hit them. He was a mentor to many younger assassins, and his experience made him just as deadly as his speed. Despite his aging body, his reflexes remained razor-sharp.
4Shishiba
Calm, collected, and rocking that iron mallet like a fashion statement. Shishiba’s the definition of “work smarter, not harder.” He’s brutal when he needs to be but isn’t mindlessly violent like some others (cough Takamura cough). He sees his work as a job rather than a personal vendetta, and while he has his own sense of morality, it never gets in the way of what needs to be done. His calculated approach makes him a reliable force within the Order.
3Yoichi Nagumo
Nagumo guy is a one-man army wrapped in a smug grin. He can copy any fighting style, making him nearly impossible to predict. Plus, he treats assassination like a game—except he’s the only one having fun. He’s known for his ability to blend into any situation, casually walking into high-security locations as if he belongs there. Behind that carefree attitude? A monster who doesn’t hesitate to eliminate anyone in his way.
2Taro Sakamoto
The legend himself. Retired, running a convenience store, and rocking a dad bod—until it’s time to throw down. He can burn off all his weight in an instant and become a killing machine again. The only reason he’s not wiping out the competition? He doesn’t kill anymore. Don’t get me started on him in his prime. A different beast entirely. In his prime, Sakamoto was the undisputed king of assassins—no hesitation, no mercy. The fact that he retired instead of being taken down? That says everything about how untouchable he was.
1Takamura
Finally, we have the walking disaster himself. This old-school swordsman barely speaks, but he doesn’t need to—his blade does all the talking. He sliced a building in half like it was warm butter, and nobody knows his limits. No flashy abilities, no gimmicks—just raw, terrifying skill. He’s been in the Order for decades, yet no one seems to know his full strength. There’s a reason even the most dangerous assassins give him space.
