Rocket League’s Halloween Event titled Haunted Hallows is starting next week, and one of its items is beyond creepy for one simple reason – the eyes, the damn eyes!
I genuinely consider myself a gorehound when it comes to everything related to horror, and the weirdest part is that some of the mundane things often creep me out more than the real horror.
Really, I’d rather go and hang out with Lord Satan or some Lovecraftian abomination (Though I don’t think I’ll live to see another day after that) than have some creepy eyes that feel as deep as the abyss itself, stare right into my soul!
It seems that the developers of Rocket League know that, as one of the items they’ve introduced does precisely what I just described – stare right into your soul.
The abominations in question are a set of tires that are themed after Ghostbusters, the Stay Puft Wheels.
While I will agree that the chubby marshmallow man’s face kind of balances it out on an overall scale, it’s his damning smile and those eyes of his that seem way too unsettling for my taste. However, I will admit that it is exciting at the same time!
Just take a look at them for yourself. Enough said, I suppose.

Other than that, more items are there for you to enjoy in this crossover, such as the Stay Puft Topper, Slime Topper, a Ghostbusters-themed player banner, Ectoplasm Boost, and more! Check out Rocket League’s official website to see all the items that you can grab!
Many will also remember that this isn’t the first time Rocket League and Ghostbusters have collaborated for an event.
During the Radical Summer Event last year, many of these skins were available as Steam DLC. Anyhow, while licensed items are great, they cannot truly beat the genuine creativity of the designers and developers that bring in original in-game items!
Those wheels are an exception, though, just because of that horrifyingly unsettling, yet delightful smile and set of eyes!
