Loid will get out of this, but I’m still terrified. The sharks are closing in on him as seen in chapter 67.1 of Spy x Family. The Shopkeeper is going to be watching him.
He will now be on the radar of the counterintelligence organization, not just Yuri’s. And because of his school connections to Desmond, this will be even more focused.
Maybe Nightfall and Yuri will meet for the first time? Seeing Anya read Damian’s mind about his innermost secrets was amusing. She now has ammo against him. I honestly believe this arc will last as long as the cruise arc.
So, we must mentally prepare for the long haul. I’m hoping for a big payout with TwiYor stuff near the middle or end of the arc.
Chapter 67.2 Discussion and Predictions
The previous chapter was part one of Loid trying to get closer to Desmond. In the end, the hospital’s director falsely yet coincidentally reported him as a spy on the hospital’s staff to the State Security Service.
That was the cliffhanger. This is an interesting turn of events, and we will see how things turn out after the officials come to the hospital to look for the spy.
It will be hilarious if the officer who shows up is Yuri. The only problem is that I’m pretty sure Yuri doesn’t want Yor and Loid to know about his job (even though Loid already knows). I can see him wanting to do it but backing off, so Yor doesn’t figure out he’s with the State Police.
We also have Anya, who will try her best to get her family closer to Damian’s family as a part of the mission. It will be interesting to see how she goes about things to convince Damian to invite her family over.
Chapter 67.2 Release Date

Chapter 67.1 Recap
The chapter begins with Anya asking Damian for the cakes, even though he never said anything like that. Damian thinks that maybe Anya was trying to get something in return for the handkerchief. He is relieved that at least she isn’t asking him to meet his parents or get her parents a job.
Anya reads his mind and starts pondering whether she could get to meet the “final boss.” Anya changes her mind and tells Damian that now she wants to meet his family.
Anya reveals that her mom has already met Damian’s mom and befriended her. Everyone is shocked to hear this. Damian thinks he is being lied to, but Anya tells him that’s not the case.
Damian gets scared that her mom might have told the Forgers about his dark (embarrassing) pre-school-era secrets. Anya reads his mind where he was thinking about when he wet the bed or barfed after eating pepper. Anya tells him to relax and that her mother didn’t mention anything.
Damian calms down and walks away with arrogance after the confirmation. When asked to invite her family over again by Anya, he gets pissed, saying they’re like flies buzzing around the Desmond name. Anya shouts that it’s not like that, and they’re serious about this. He asks what they are serious about, but Anya shuts him up.
The scene cuts to Loid in a hospital, disguised as a doctor. Everyone there seems to like him very much except for one guy – the Chief Medical Director Gerald Gorey. Loid is discussing his mission with Fiona.
She tells him that he can’t get near the patients associated with Desmond. The director won’t assign patients to him out of personal spite. The director is put off by the fact that Loid is a new joinee yet, has achieved more reputation than the director.
Fiona comes out of the room, telling herself that Loid spoke to her for 5 minutes and 41 seconds. Gerald was stalking the two, and after seeing Fiona, he got more jealous. He believes that Loid even took the girl away from him whom he had set his eyes on. Gerald decided to make Loid’s time troublesome at the hospital.
He changed Loid’s meeting timing from 10:30 to 11:00. He thought the patients would bad-mouth him, but what happened was quite the opposite. Gerald tries more stuff to embarrass Loid, but the patients think of him as adorable every time and overlook it.
Gerald concludes that this is happening only because of his handsome features. Loid also gets tired of playing along with Gerald’s tricks.
Gerald sends a letter to Fiona pretending to be Loid, saying, “Fiona, there’s something I want to tell you. I’ll be waiting for you tonight at 7’o clock at Maltic Bridge. -Loid Forger.” Fiona knew that it was the director but still decided to come.
She says that she’ll happily get rid of this minor problem, but Loid says that they keep putting up with it. The director mistakes it for the two of them discussing the note.
Tired of everything, Gerald loses it and goes for his last resort. He picks up the phone and calls the State Security Service. He tells them he is calling from Berlint General Hospital and discovered a spy on his staff.
