Shoot! Goal to the Future Ep 8: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Episode 7 of Shoot! Goal to the Future didn’t feature much action. It was mostly a comedic episode with few developments in the characters. It showed us the old traditions of the Kakegawa High Soccer team when Kamiya was in the playing squad.

This series also seems to over-emphasize the sexual orientations of the characters to a point where it starts to feel dumb and unnecessary. The whole episode felt predictable with all the traditions and stuff, but that is okay.

The episode started with Namioka and coach Kamiya talking about some traditions. Later that day, the team is told that they will have a training camp at their school and sleep in the gymnasium.

He went out to the field where Tsuji was practicing to shoot. Subaru followed him from a distance as he woke up after Jo left. Tsuji told jo that he quit soccer because he couldn’t shoot anymore. They were talking when a white figure from Namioka’s story sneaked right behind Subaru. He screamed loud enough to get Tusji and Jo’s attention.

They followed the figure to the gym, where it all turned into chaos. The security guard came in and gave all of them a good scolding. It was coach Kamiya who dressed up as a ghost because that’s what their tradition was.

The next day they started their practice 2 Vs. 3 games. Jo was getting hyper-active, and the coach told him to calm down. He said it only takes one person to shoot, but one person alone can’t shoot.

Jo started thinking out loud about what the coach told him. Just then, Subaru has a flashback of Andrea saying they can’t put all the fault on one person. Something clicked in his mind.

The next day, during practice, Kamiya tells Namioka that making them play without any practice match before it is just a bet. A bet on their hunger to bag a victory. He then tells everyone to steal the ball from him. As the players come at him simultaneously, he dodges them while telling them their weaknesses.

That night, Sonoda and Sahara sneak up into the pool. Soon, they were followed by the others. Kamiya came to the gym, but there were only empty sleeping bags. When he went to the pool, he was also pushed in. After some chit-chat, the school guard caught them again, scolding them again.

The following day, everyone is called out to the field. They are handed their jerseys for their match. Tsuji is given the number ten, the most prestigious jersey number in soccer.
