The Executioner and Her Way of Life Ep11 Release Date, Speculation

In episode 10 of The Executioner and Her Way of Life, there is a nice contrast between Manon and Pandemonium.

Manon is crazy, but only in the sense that she is “broken” – after watching her mother get murdered, she had to cope with excessive expectations and was shunned by those around her.

There’s nothing particularly original about her, but she’s still a crazy villain.

Pandemonium is another one who is also crazy. However, there was nothing to explain her behavior.

As she switches between nonsense, violence, and seemingly having fun, her hatred is not even supported (it is possible that at one point, her craziness makes sense, but it is no longer the case). It does a great job of pushing the idea of “inhumanity” of her error as a human being.

Episode 11 Speculations

In episode 10, Manon revealed that her goal was to take over the Fourth from her parents. It was shown how Flare killed Manon’s mother, then, when she asked Flare to kill her because she might be a threat, too, she told him that the concept is based on soul transfer rather than genetics.

Her disappointment came from not being able to live up to people’s expectations and be the prodigy child she was meant to be. She went the wrong way to achieve her goal of being taboo and getting the power she wanted.

Nevertheless, this power came with a price. The spirit of something lived within her.

The new girl sacrifices her own life to be alive, so she cannot be killed usually. Her concept is the worst of all. She is known as the Human Error Pandemonium.

Perhaps we will learn more about her powers and her intentions in the next episode? We will not be able to predict precisely, but since episode 11 is titled “Pandemonium,” we will learn more about this new baby.

Since Ashua is nearby, Menou won’t be able to fight her alone, but we will undoubtedly see her engage in the fight.

Episode 10 Recap

When Menou made her knife a flying sword and dived out of the window to save Akari, one of my favorite parts of this episode, I replayed that scene a couple of times because it was entertaining and executed perfectly!

Due to Manon’s rebellious stage, I hoped she would have fought back more aggressively. Menou brutally cut her arm off. However, she eventually sacrificed herself to summon Pandemonium Alien-style, which probably wasn’t a pleasant way to finish.

I thought this Manon’s face was pretty hilarious. I can’t even imagine this being the face I would wear when dying.

It is hard not to feel bad for Manon, even though she is the villain of the moment. That was an extremely unfair way to murder her mother in front of her.

Flare had fully embraced her self-proclaimed villainous status and had zero empathy for any damage her executions may cause. Despite Menou’s supposed destiny to follow in her footsteps, this distinctive quality makes her different from Menou.

Menou was also given a seed in her mind by Manon, suggesting that she did not have to take Flare’s approach to executions. Manon recognized Menou’s empathetic side and pointed it out, and we’ve already seen that Menou has a compassionate side that Flare does not.

As a result of her absence from the fight, she might have missed the most crucial moment of the battle: preventing Manon from planting the idea in Menou. As we have already seen, Menou fails in his future attempt at killing Akari.

About The Executioner and Her Way of Life

The Executioner and Her Way of Life by Maho Sato and Nilitsu is a light novel series that will receive an anime adaptation in 2022.

The plot focuses on Menou, an executioner who is in charge of killing all those who get isekai’d into her world. These people are called ‘strays’ of ‘lost ones’ and are often responsible for huge calamities.

Thus, when Akari arrived, Menou was tasked with killing her. The only problem is that Akari’s ability makes her almost impossible to kill. As both of them spend time together, a new relationship blossoms between them.
