Episode seven of the anime Rumble Garanndoll starts with Werdcat being introduced as Misa, a hacking genius who is also a battery girl.
She’s the brattiest one we’ve seen yet, what with her punching and tasing people and throwing them out of their rooms.
She also sends Hosomichi on a bizarre quest to find some treasures which, nobody knows where they are. As Yakumo’s Garann attacks Akihabara, will she help them fight?
Episode 8 Speculations
Fans are impressed with the commentary on spiraling otaku culture with their funny twists. The ecchi-loving outcasts have banded together to live in dark spaces avoiding the restrictions of society.
What fans are expecting from the next episode is to see Misa, a.k.a Werdcat, in action. Rin is way out of her depth in this one, so there’s really only one thing left.
We are also curious about what treasures she was looking for in the dungeons that she sent people to that creepy place for it.

Episode 7 Recap
The episode starts with WerdCat getting inside her box, refusing to come out. Yamada describes her as a girl named Misa, a genius hacker, kidnapped by Ukai to be a battery girl.
Hosomichi opens the box to lure her out, only for her to punch him, bring out a taser to hurt them, and lock them out. The girls suggest breaking the door down or using explosives, but that would damage the priceless items within the recharge room.
Hosomichi tries to bargain with her, but she blackmails all of them by disclosing their personal data. She does finally consent to open the door if they beat her at a game.
As they play, not a single person can beat her until it’s Hosomichi’s turn. She is supposed to give up if she loses but instead insists on playing another game called dungeon. It can only mean the underground labyrinth in Akihabara.
They head to the creepy otaku market underground to do whatever Misa asks of them. Yamada sees an old LD store and heads inside to look for OVAs while Ukai scampers off to a collectible weapons store, abandoning Hosomichi.
He heads off to a terrifying place, and his transceiver stops working, so Misa calls him, and they find out they could’ve done that all this while. At the base, alarms go off as an intruder in Akihabara is detected.
As Hosomichi shifts boxes to collect treasures for Misa, the alarm boards reach him. Yakumo, after being thoroughly creeped out, boards her Garann. Yamada decides to pilot with Rin as a battery girl.
Yakumo beats up Shark-One like it’s nothing. Will Hosomichi be able to save them in time?
About Rumble Garanndoll
Rumble Garanndoll is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series animated by Studio Lerche.
The story begins in 2019, just before the change in historical eras for Japan. A rift to another dimension suddenly opens in the skies above, revealing a “turnabout” alternate world called “Shinkoku Nippon.” This parallel version of Japan maintained its militarism and remains stuck in the Showa era. Shinkoku Nippon invades Japan with its “Genmu” gas weapons and giant humanoid “Garan” weapons. The invaders immediately take over our government and all but conquer Japan.
A decade later, our Japan has been revamped as Genkoku Nippon, a puppet state of Shinkoku Nippon. Under harsh censorship, the once-thriving manga, anime, idol, and similar sub-cultures have completely died off … or so it seemed. A secret society named Arahabaki rises up to resist Shinkoku with Garanndoll weapons powered by “battery girls.”
