The Terminal List: Dark Wolf sparked a lot of buzz when it was first announced, and many wondered if Prime Video had plans to expand the show into a bigger universe.

It is because the show is adapted from Jack Carr’s bestselling book series, which has six novels so far and a seventh one coming soon. However, it has been confirmed that Reece will not be the protagonist of the prequel.

Instead, the show will focus on the main villain, Edwards. Edward is Reece’s best friend and a former Navy SEAL in season 1. However, in the climax, Reece learns that Edward was the pioneer of an elaborate scheme that caused the death of his platoon and his family during the mission.

Although the show follows the books in making Edward the villain, it makes him repent for his actions.

However, this deviation proved successful as it helped fans connect to the antagonist and gave him depth. In the prequel, we will learn more about Edwards’ backstory and what compelled him to take drastic measures to sabotage his best friend.

While no other casting decisions are known, the backstory and main casting choices will excite fans about ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’.

Got the rare talent to binge an entire show in a single sitting just like that. Although a sucker for psychological thrillers, no bias for any genre when it comes to a good story. A living proof that Netflix and chill is not a myth!
