Episode 90 Recap
After hearing about Hikari’s Pochama kidnapping, Satoshi, Go, and Koharu arrive at Sinnoh. Amidst their investigation, Lucario and Interelon are kidnapped by Team Rocket. They follow the villains through a shining gate that leads them to another world.
This world looks exactly like theirs except for a few details. They come across their doppelgangers who are exactly like them and have the same Pokemon. After some initial confusion, they quickly become friends, and Satoshi’s double tells them that time is going backward in his world.
All his Pokemon have turned back into their egg form, and this is when Satoshi’s Pikachu de-evolves into Pichu. All the other Pokemon start de-evolving as well.
They hurry to the Pokemon center in the other world where they find Team Rocket, disguised as professor Nanakamado, taking away the kidnapped Pokemon.
The real professor tells them that it’s not just the Pokemon who are getting affected, but humans are being rewound too. Satoshi remembers that Ms. Shirona said that Palkia might be making space distort.
Koharu adds that if time is also distorting, then Dialga might be involved too. They ask professor Nanakamado how they can get to Dialga and Palkia, and he tells them to go to the Sphere Pillars at the summit of Mt. Tengan.
The four kids and their doubles make their way to the two Pokemon and find them fighting inside a red circle. It was Team Rocket’s plan all along to make the two fight and capture as many Pokemon as they can in their egg state.
After all the Pokemon turn into eggs, Satoshi and the team send their feelings out to Dialga and Palkia so that they would stop fighting and turn everything back to normal. Their plan is successful, and everyone turns back to normal.
The original team then bids goodbye to their counterparts, hoping to meet again someday. They safely land in their respective worlds as the space-time distortion ends.
