Episode 9 Speculations
Now that Minamikawa more or less knows that his friend is Metropoliman, things are bound to get ugly sooner or later. Nothing seems to escape Kanade Uryu since he’s so cunning. Will Minamikawa be able to act as if nothing happened?
Kanade has figured out who between Mirai and Mukaido had the white arrow and who he needs to get rid of first. Will he find out his enemies’ real identities soon? That should take a few more episodes.
There are also supposed to be more candidates that haven’t been introduced yet. In the next episode, fans presume, the story will show just that.

Episode 8 Recap
Saki’s friend sees Mirai standing in the shadows, looking at her. She wants to confront “the stalker,” and Saki tells her he’s protecting her from annoying guys. She wonders if he’s happy protecting her.
Minamikawa sees Kanade being surrounded by girls, asking about his head wound. How did he get it? So many girls died after he told Kanade he wished all the ugly girls disappeared. Could it be that Kanade is Metropoliman?
Minakawa concludes that he is and decides to pretend that nothing happened, and he doesn’t know anything.
Mukaido asks Mirai to draw Metropoliman from memory but seeing that he is uncomfortable, Saki decides to call it a day. At night she tells Mirai that she wants to talk to him.
Saki says they would be sleeping in the same bed tonight, and the angels should stay away till morning. In bed, she tells him that she bullied him too because of peer pressure, even though they were friends.
She wanted to commit suicide because of how awful of a person she discovered she was. She mistreated Mirai even though he was a friend and even used him for her gain.
She wants Mirai to kill her, and Mirai says okay like he’s an absolute Chad. Mirai carries her outside on his wings, and lets go of her hand midair. This is when Saki realizes that she wants to live.
When she asks Mirai for forgiveness, he says he wasn’t even mad. The following day Saki seems like a new person, no longer a passive voice. She picks out a bigger building they could live in together.
She even asks for wings, and Baret tells her someone has to die for it, hinting at Mukaido’s deteriorating health. Saki says that it wouldn’t make her happy, so Revel decides to become a special rank angel.
