Episode 2 of Peach Boy Riverside is titled “Human and Ogres.” It will continue with the fight between Sally and the ogre that has appeared to destroy the castle.
Considering Sally’s monstrous strength, I don’t think that the monster will last long. However, I do believe that it has a trump card up its sleeves which makes him confident even after losing one arm.
The previous episode ended with a set of questions. What if the Giant Peach that came down the riverside wasn’t the only one? What if it was one of many Peaches?
The upcoming episode will further clarify the concept of “Peach,” thereby explaining the secret behind Sally’s hidden powers.

I. The Carrot Debt
The anime starts with Sally, a cheerful princess, coming across a cute demihuman while exploring the forest. She hasn’t seen a demihuman before, so she gives it a carrot out of curiosity.
It turns out that the demihuman can talk human language too. It even has a name, Frau, and it follows Sally to repay his carrot debt. (Honestly speaking, Frau is the cutest demihuman I have seen after Raphtalia)
Sally heads towards a nearby village, where the people refuse to allow her in with a demihuman by her side. It seems that the humans are quite afraid of the demihumans due to their past experiences.
Their point of view doesn’t change even after witnessing Frau saving the village from a huge monster. Thus, Frau thanks the villagers for the carrots and leaves the village with Sally.
II. Sally Gets Arrested
A higher-order knight, Hawthorn, witnesses this incident and captures Sally for roaming around with a demihuman. Later, he reveals that he was impressed by the human and demihuman friendship, so he brought them to his place to find out more.
Hilariously, Sally grabs this opportunity to accuse Hawthorn of arresting someone without any reason, thereby demanding some food to compensate for their loss of time.
With no other option left, Hawthorn takes them out for lunch. However, this doesn’t turn out well since an ogre shows up suddenly and starts attacking the castle.
III. Sally Unleahes Hidden Power
This is where we come to know that Sally has some kind of hidden power that surpasses any skilled sorcerer. She gets heated up whenever he sees a monster as if she is a completely different person.
All her instincts tempt her to kill the monster, and she completely loses her mind. However, Frau isn’t aware of her powers, so it engages the monster single-handedly to keep her safe.
Just when Frau was about to get crushed, Sally returns to save her rabbit-like friend and destroys the monster’s arm in a single strike of her sword. It seems that her powers lie in her eyes, which has completely changed ever since she lost control.
