One Piece Episode 949: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

Luffy and Akazaya Samurai have joined hands and are fighting together to break through Udon Prison and free all the trapped prisoners.

Meanwhile, Vice Warden Daifugo is wreaking havoc among the prisoners by randomly shooting the Plague Bullets.

The prisoners still do not trust Luffy and he is having a hard time convincing them to break free from Beast Pirates.

Episode 949 of the One Piece anime, titled “We’re Here to Win! Luffy’s Desperate Scream!”, has been released on Sunday, Nov 08, 2020.

Due to the issues caused in production by COVID-19, One Piece shortly went on a break, but since Episode 930, new episodes have been regularly broadcasting every Sunday.

2. Episode 949 Preview

Episode 949 will be the last episode of this season and will also mark the end of Udon Prison Arc/Wano Country Arc.

The random shooting of the Plague Rounds continues, and all hell breaks loose in Labor Camp. Even after being infected, Luffy does the unexpected and risks his life trying to stop prisoners’ riot.

He hugs all the infected prisoners to show compassion and to stop them from infecting their other comrades.

This awakens the fighting spirit of the prisoners and they finally see how determined Luffy is to save Wano by defeating Kaido and decides to help him in this fight.

3. Episode 948 Recap

Raizo steals the keys to the Kawamatsu’s cuffs and his sword and throws them inside the cell, where Kaido was holding him.  After Raizo, Kawamatsu, and Kikunojo reunite, they join up with Luffy and Hyogoro in fighting the Beasts Pirates.

All the prisoners turn against Luffy and restrain him. They are afraid of going out of Udon because of Orochi and Kaido. They believe, even if they get free, Kaido and Orochi will hunt them down, so prison is the only safe place for them right now.

Hyogoro, Kiku and Kawamatsu reveal their true identity, and together with Luffy, brings a ray of light to the dark future of the prisoners.
