Xebec Crew Formation

We see that Xebec used Davy Back Fights to grow his crew. This is a pirate game where the winning side can take crew members from the losing side. Xebec used this to recruit many strong pirates, including Whitebeard, Golden Lion Shiki, Stussy, Wang Zhi, Marlon from the West Sea, and Ganzui the smuggler.

Attack on Reverie and Fight with King Harald

Eight years ago, Xebec attacked the Reverie at Mary Geoise all by himself. He kidnapped five kings, stole a treasure ship meant for the Celestial Dragons, and destroyed the huge Gates of Justice at Enies Lobby. During the attack, he fought King Harald of Elbaph. Their fight was so powerful that black Haki lightning filled the air, just like when Roger fought Whitebeard.

Xebec Meets Imu and Mentions Davy Jones

Xebec reached the Room of Flowers inside Pangaea Castle. There, he met Imu, the secret ruler of the world. He told Imu that he was a fan of the legendary Davy Jones and said he would come back again someday.

This was a surprising moment because almost no one meets Imu face-to-face. During this meeting, we also see Saint Gunko, who now works as one of the Holy Knights. She was already serving Imu back then.

Taking Over Pirate Island and Building His Legacy

After leaving Elbaph, Xebec and his crew took over Pirate Island which became their main base. From there, the Rocks Pirates started to grow even stronger. Xebec’s journey made him one of the most dangerous pirates in history, even though the World Government tried to erase his name.
