In the Dawntrail trailer, the Pictomancer wields a Magical paintbrush and palette. The new Lalafell character, Krile Baldesion, was chosen to wield the new job powers in the trailer.

One of the most exciting points that piqued the interest of most Final Fantasy players is the introduction of the latest playable race for the title.

A female Hrothgar called Growing Light was teased initially at the end of Patch 6.5. She turns out to be the daughter of the Tural region’s current ruler and is the leonine warrior who will appear in Patch 6.55.

Patch 6.55 has been confirmed to launch on January 16th. Growing Light will request the aid of the Warrior of Light and their companions. This will be a part of the rite of succession that elects the future ruler of the Tural region.

Growing Light’s in-game look was confirmed with Dawnlight’s updated graphics as a part of the keynote event by the localization head of Final Fantasy 14, Kate Cwynar.

Director Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that the expected release window of Summer 2024 for Dawnlight continues to be accurate, and they have an internal target to match the release window. It seems fans have to wait a little longer until more information is revealed on the Dawnlight front.
