Muv-Luv Alternative Episode 13: Release Date, Speculation

Episode 12 of Muv-Luv Alternative, titled “Fate,” was the latest installment in the anime.

In the finale of Muv-Luv Alternative, the rebellion has been resolved. Takeru and the others have graduated from training.

They have now become TSP pilots and are ready to face the BETA and successfully accomplish Alternative Plan IV.

Since Takeru is not from this world, he might be able to stay there for long, but he will try his best to eradicate the BETA forces altogether.

The finale wrapped up this entire season pretty neatly, and it’s going to be exciting to see what the show has in store for us in season 2.

Episode 13 Speculation

Now that our heroes have completed their training, the next season will focus on their lives as TSF pilots. Takeru’s talent will shine as he will once again excel in everything.

The Alternative Plan IV will also be put into motion, and hopefully, Takeru will save this new world from the devastation caused by Alternative Plan V.

Episode 12 Recap

The episode begins with a battle between both sides breaking out.

Takeru and Meiya try to flee from the scene. Irma, who previously started shooting, recovers from brainwashing. Unfortunately, she is immediately killed by her teammate, who then opens fire on Takeru.

Meanwhile, Walken comes face to face with the traitor and realizes that he is actually a spy for the other side, He attempts to escape, but Sagiri manages to stop him.

Walken makes his way to Sagiri, but since the traitor had damaged his TSF, he doesn’t make it too far before getting killed.

After Walken is out of his way, Sagiri continues making his way towards Takeru. Chiziru and Kei try to stop him but cannot do so. Tsukuyomi then stops Sagiri and tries talking to him.

She says that the government’s evil plans and corruption have been exposed to everyone due to his rebellion. She then proceeds to tell him that due to his efforts, she will grant him an honorable death whilst in battle.

Sagiri accepts her proposal because, deep down, he knows his end is near regardless of the outcome of their battle. With the last of his energy, Sagiri engages in battle with Tsukuyomi and is killed by her.

After Sagiri is dead, his forces surrender and accept defeat as well. Peace has been restored as the battle stops, and Yuuhi promises to keep her word and bring good changes in the government to avoid future conflicts.

As the fight is now over, the 207th have the time to mourn the loss of their loved ones. They finally graduate from training and become proper TSF pilots.

Before the episode ends, we get a glimpse of professor Yuuko proceeding with the Alternative Plan IV with Sakon.

Muv-Luv is originally an adult game that was released for Windows in the year 2003.

It consists of two parts: Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited. It was later adapted into a Japanese visual novel developed by age 2003. The game was followed by a sequel, Muv-Luv Alternative.

The Muv-Luv franchise is also home to several other styles of games, many manga spin-offs, and anime series such as “Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse” (2012) and “Schwarzesmarken” (2016).

In Muv-Luv Alternative, the protagonist Takeru wakes up three years after the end of the previous adaptation, Muv-Luv Unlimited, and finds himself back in his room.

He initially thinks that it was all a dream until he leaves his house to find that he has traveled back in time to when the events in Unlimited first began.

Unable to accept Alternative V, he aids professor Kouzuki in saving mankind by completing Alternative IV.
