Mortal Kombat 1 Online Lobby and Practise Mode teased

Mortal Kombat 1 leaker has revealed that there will be changes to Online gameplay in February 2024.

The Peacemaker DLC, released in February 2024, will bring Online Lobbies and Practice Mode.

Fans of the franchise are also expecting the much-awaited but little-talked Crossplay feature.

Mortal Kombat 1 has one of the best online mechanics of all the titles in the Mortal Kombat franchise. However, a lot is left to be desired given the lack of many essential features that fans want.

Reputed Mortal Kombat 1 leaker @thethiny on Twitter has revealed information suggesting that developers NetherRealm might be introducing Online Lobbies around the same time as the release of the Peacemaker DLC in February 2024. There are also mentions of the online practice mode that is rumored to arrive soon.

Last year, there were rumors that Mortal Kombat 1’s crossplay feature would go live in February 2024. Being just a month away with no official confirmation, it can be expected that NetherRealm might shadow-drop it with not much announcement.

The release of the crossplay feature is expected to be sometime in February. There’s no confirmation about releasing the crossplay features for the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1.

The fact that the developers have a lot of content in the form of DLCs coming up means that players have much to look forward to. There have been very few confirmations and a lot of rumors.

There’s also the rumored possibility of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. Along with this, a part of the fanbase also theorizes the case of an extended story mode.

This is plausible, given that developers NetherRealm have done it before in Mortal Kombat 11’s Aftermath DLC. The post-launch roadmap is one of the best we have seen recently, ensuring that fans don’t go without new content for too long.
