Love Island USA season 5 returns with a spectacular premiere and a thrilling second episode. Sarah Hyland reprises her role as the host, introducing a new batch of islanders to a villa in Fiji.
The new villa is located over 5,000 miles away from the previous season’s villa in Santa Monica. Soon, we see some couples, such as Kay Kay and Keenan, developing an instant connection.
However, some islanders face difficulties in finding a match. For instance, the incompatibility between Anna and Bergie almost eliminates Bergie.

Love Island USA season 5 episode 2 was released around 8:30, although the official time of release was 9 PM. The episode aired on Wednesday for the premiere week, but the rest of the season will follow a Thursday to Tuesday schedule.
The only exceptions are Wednesdays and Saturdays when no new episodes will be available. Instead, a special episode comprising unseen moments will be broadcasted every Saturday.

Love Island USA season 5, episode 2, features Bergie’s return with two new girls. He spends a night in the hideaway with them and then rejoins his fellow islanders, who are delighted to see him. His confidence level has increased significantly since his night in the hideaway. Even Anna notices this change in Bergie.
On the other hand, Leonardo is now the most popular islander, with Kassy, Anna, and the new girl, Carmen, all pursuing him. However, Kassy is displeased to see him going on a date with someone else.
Jasmine also feels dissatisfied as she feels anxious about Victor’s date with the new girl, Hannah, despite her lack of chemistry with him.
The islanders have positive feedback about the girls after their dates, which displeases their partners. Kassy’s jealousy over Leonardo’s date is not well-received by him, as he thinks it is too early for her to be so attached to him.
The episode also features a surprising twist when Marco, who initially seems interested in Destiny, tells her he wants to explore other options. This upsets her, and he yells into his bean bag chair. Marco attempts to reconcile later, but Destiny is unwilling to forgive him; she remains angry.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger as the new girls face a difficult choice. They have to pick a guy from an existing couple, but they can either inform the women or keep it secret.

Love Island USA is currently only available for streaming in the US. The show is exclusive to Peacock, where the first two episodes of season 5 and all episodes from season 4 are already available. The first three seasons, which were broadcasted on CBS, can be streamed on Hulu.
