In chapter 184, titled “Tokyo No. 2 Colony, Part 4”, Panda encounters Hajime Kashimo and in a short and crisp battle, is immediately totaled by her.

The battle shows us Panda’s third secret core that belonged to his sister. Yet, it proved to be useless against Kashimo and her electrifying curse energy.

This chapter explicitly mentions that curse energy can manifest elemental powers and Sukuna once again takes the center stage, driving the story as he pleases.

The final panel reveals that Kashimo is more than just interested in Sukuna’s whereabouts with her eyes spelling bloodlust all over.

This new powerhouse could prove to be dangerous to Itadori as an already warmed-up and quite angry Kashimo is in swift pursuit of Sukuna.

The next chapter could delve into Kashimo’s motivations and her reasons for jumping straight into the heart of danger since challenging Sukuna is no mean feat anybody could pull off on a whim.

We might just see Panda make a comeback because as things stand right now, he seems to be down for the count.

The chapter begins with Panda sitting on top of a shipping crate posing as a cuddly teddy bear and notices a faint sign of curse energy. He is instantly on high alert as it could mean that his adversary is an expert curse user who can turn curse energy off and on at will.

Panda was supposed to act as the brains of the operation and get into contact with Angel and Hakari, acting as the brawn. The Random Teleportation threw a wrench in their plans.

Panda resorts to looking for Angel all by himself but ends up running into Hajime Kashimo. Attempting to defuse the situation without a battle, he pretends to be a real panda but that doesn’t exactly work.

Kashimo first thinks that it is an escaped Panda from the Ueno Zoo but still confirms it with their Kogane who lets the cat out of the bag, resulting in a beatdown.

They immediately begin attacking Panda before he can put up a guard. He gets absolutely trashed but during that process, he realizes that the energy is similar to that of Fushigoro’s Nue which has the properties of electricity thus being impossible to defend against.

Panda switches to his gorilla core and starts his Unlockable Drumming Beat. The move does impress Kashimo but is of little consequence as they deftly evade it and break his arm.

Pinning Panda to the ground, they ask him about Sukuna’s whereabouts and are angered because they are sure that he has lied.

Before Kashimo can release another relentless flurry of attacks, Panda switches to his sister’s core turning his body into a hybrid with a rhino’s head.

The next panel reveals the principle behind Kashimo’s attacks. They launch a rally of attacks against Panda, sending positive charges into his body, all the while storing the negative charges in their body.

Once it is accumulated, they discharge it all at once like a lightning strike putting Panda down for the count.

This proves their might as they can use an attack with guaranteed hits without a domain expansion.

They end the chapter by asking Panda for Sukuna again, an inquiry he is not willing to participate in.

This is not going to end for panda unless he makes a surprise comeback or maybe someone else steps into play.
