Indian Animation Mourns The Loss of Arnab Chaudhuri

Indian animation veteran Arnab Chaudhuri passed away last week. Arnab had directed Arjun: The Warrior Prince to great acclaim in 2012 and currently available on Netflix. He is survived by his wife and two children, and our hearts go out to them and his family in this time of grief.

Arnab has helmed some of the highest quality work that India has ever done in the field of graphics and animation. His treasure chest of experience included work at organisations like Turner, Walt Disney and some exceptionally creative work at Channel [V] India.

One rarely comes across the level of creativity that Arnab was capable of and known for and having him as a part of the creative community in India was truly a privilege. Doubtless, his work will serve as an inspiration to many aspiring future animation professionals and the creatively bent as a whole. On a personal note, being acquainted with him and his family has always been a privilege for me. May his soul rest in peace, and the universe grant his family strength in this difficult period.
