How long does it take to beat AC Mirage? Story & 100% Completion Time

After the overly long RPG titles in the Assassin’s Creed series, Mirage serves as a palate cleanser, taking the franchise back to its roots and featuring mechanics that made the original games beloved. Mirage is reminiscent of the older games not only in setting and gameplay but also in length too.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s main story takes around 15 hours to complete, while both main and side missions take around 20 hours. A completionist run of the game takes around 27 hours.

Even though the numbers above are definitive estimates, playtime can always differ from player to player based on a lot of factors, like how they play, how much time they spend focusing on the different aspects of the game, what difficulty they play on, etc.

1. How to get 100% Completion in AC Mirage

A completionist run of Assassin’s Creed Mirage means doing everything the game has to offer. Here’s what you really need to do to achieve 100% completion of the game:

  • Complete all Main Missions
  • Collect all collectibles:
    • 21 Viewpoints
    • 66 Historical Sites
    • 30 Gear Chests
    • 7 Lost Books
    • 18 Dervis’ Artifacts
    • 10 Mysterious Shards
    • 12 Enigmas
    • 6 Tales of Baghdad
  • Complete all Contracts
  • Unlock all Trophies / Achievements

2. How many difficulty settings are there in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers three difficulty settings before players begin their journey with Basim which are:

  • Easy
  • Normal
  • Hard

These are pretty general and basic difficulty settings, and as always, I suggest playing the game on Normal mode first to have a balanced experience and then running it again on a harder difficulty for a tougher and more challenging playthrough.

3. Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage the shortest Assassin’s Creed game?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is one of the, if not the shortest, games in the series, with Freedom Cry being the shortest. It has a lower price than other Assassin’s Creed titles due to it serving as a smaller adventure, unlike the previous games.

It clocks in around 15 hours for main story completion, and while the playtimes differ from player to player, you don’t need to sit for 40-50 hours to complete the game. It’s short, sweet, and something the franchise needed after the last three games.

4. How many endings does Assassin’s Creed Mirage have?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has only one definitive ending that sets up the events in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, since it’s a prequel to it. There is no secret ending or a post-credits scene.

Multiple endings have been present in some of the previous titles, but since this is a prequel, it has only one, which reveals that Basim and Nehal are the same person and that they are Loki, directly setting up the inevitable meeting of Eivor and Basim.

7. About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
