Have you ever bet on whether nice guys always finish last, or, if there is any hope of F-boys turning sincere anytime soon? HBO Max surely has, as they renew their reality show FBoy Island for its second season.
The streamer calls it a comical, self-aware show that puts together 12 self-proclaimed “Nice” guys and 12 other self-proclaimed “FBoys” who will compete for the love of three brilliant women. And… yes, a cash prize.
The renewal announcement comes only a week after the first season closes its curtains. We won’t reveal the winners just in case you haven’t caught up with the drama yet!
But needless to say, HBO Max finds it well-received to bring out a new season with “even more big twists in store.”
First season’s host Nikki Glazer will also return.
This social experiment cum reality show is a Max original created by Elan Gale, with growing viewership and one of many of the streamer’s “Summer of Unscripted.
While the name is a little on the nose of another romance reality show I can think of, it makes for an interesting enough take to sit along with the show’s girls to guess who are the nice guys, versus the naughty.
Especially as it is revealed that the FBoys will be tricking the girls just to grab the cash prize.
Glazer, who also executively produces, has only one possible problem for S2 that she can think of — that the world has more than just 12 FBoys!
