Last, we saw Nene make it out of the mysterious place with the help of Katakuri. She was surprised after realizing Tsukasa’s identity. After being questioned, Tsukasa revealed detailed events of his past to Kou and Nene.

4. Recap of Chapter 82

Chapter 82, titled “The Red House (Part 7),” starts with Kou telling Tsukasa that Hanako died at the age of 13 after he killed his brother.

Tsukasa seems confused because this is the first he has heard of it.

Kou and Nene come to the conclusion that the Tsukasa that Hanako killed was a fake, and the Tsukasa in this cursed house is the real one.

Kou further says that Hanako might have realized that the other Tsukasa was not his real brother back in their world and decided to kill him.

Kou and Nene then decide to take Tsukasa back to the real world since they are under the impression that they can help Hanako.

They know that it sat very heavily on Hanako’s conscience after he killed his little brother. So they feel like if they bring Tsukasa with them, Hanako can live a life without ever having to kill anyone.

Kou asks Tsukasa if he wants to leave the house and meet Hanako. At first, he is reluctant, then he agrees.

The moment he agrees to it, the house starts changing shape. It tries to crush all three of them so that they can’t escape.

At one point, Nene had to sacrifice herself to protect Kou and Tsukasa from a falling bookshelf. Kou then returned the favor by stopping the walls from crushing Nene.

Tsukasa realizes that the house is afraid of fire and lights all the scattered books on fire to make the cursed house go back to its original state. 

Kou and Nene then see the entrance they came in from and rush towards it with Tsukasa. Just before they could step out, Tsukasa mentions that he is glad he got to meet them.

The chapter ends with Tsukasa happily staying back in the cursed house, which is now falling apart.
