2. Recap of Grand Blue Season 2 Episode 4
The 4th episode of Grand Blue season 2 started with Aina expressing her annoyance, because it seemed like it was only the men (and Azusa) in the club who had fun. So they all agreed to have a girls-only party in Chisa’s room. In Chisa’s room, the group discussed a lot about Chisa and how her lifestyle was not very girly. Chisa told the girls that she only used makeup because Nanaka asked her to, but refuses to use the more erotic underwear Nanaka bought for her.
When Chisa was showing them the undergarments Nanaka had bought for her, Iori walked into their room with refreshments and got the wrong idea about the situation. Chisa immediately went after Iori to clear the misunderstanding, and Iori could tell that Chisa wasn’t in a great situation either. Soon enough, Iori returned again to see Nanaka and Azusa groping Chisa, and saved her from the situation.
Later, Aina gave Chisa a ticket to the Oumi Women’s University festival. She explained that their festival wasn’t open to everyone to prevent weirdos from entering their campus, so having the female students hand out tickets to trusted male students made sense. Apparently, a popular voice actress would be performing in the festival too. Hearing this, Iori and Kouhei, who were overhearing the conversation from outside, just had to join. The girls obviously rejected them.
Iori asked Chisa to give him the ticket as he’d be her bodyguard against men, and Aina seconded this because Iori was her boyfriend (technically). This was a huge mistake, though, because Nanaka was in the same room and definitely heard Aina. However, Nanaka, who was drunk, didn’t react to Aina’s statement. The following day, Iori told his uncle about how Nanaka got drunk easily and started clinging to Chisa. His uncle found this really weird, because he didn’t expect his daughter to be a lightweight.
The truth was, Nanaka wasn’t drunk, but pretended to be drunk. She confronted Iori later and asked him to clearly explain the situation. After Iori explained his side, Nanaka asked him to make sure that no one flirts with Chisa during the Oumi Women’s University festival(she basically threatened him). Thanks to Iori’s friend, Mitarai, whose childhood friend went to OWU, they got an extra ticket, so Iori, Kouhei, their friends, and Chisa will be going to the OWU festival together.
3. Speculation of Episode 5 of Grand Blue Season 2
Chisa was in a situation where she couldn’t refuse Iori and his friends, especially because they got a ticket from Mitarai’s side. She clearly despised the situation, but Iori isn’t in it for ulterior motives either. The Oumi Women’s University Festival isn’t going to be all that fun for Iori and Kouhei (Kouhei might have a better time because he’ll get to see his favorite VA).
Iori and Kouhei will have to cross-dress as women in a maid-café of sorts. It goes without saying that they’ll look absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile, Aina and her friends (from Grand Blue season 1) will be wearing their cakey makeup while ridiculing Iori and the others.
