The “New Empire” in the MonsterVerse suggests that a horde or army of Titans will rise from the Hollow Earth and invade the surface world.
Since the movie will explore more of the MonsterVerse lore and the ancient Titan War, there’s a high chance that the Empire has something to do with the past of Godzilla and Kong in the MonsterVerse.

It looks like the movie will introduce a new, blue-eyed kaiju resembling Kong that sits on a throne surrounded by Titan bones in a Hollow Earth chamber.
We don’t know who he is, but he looks like a badass enemy for anyone who challenges him. He might be a survivor of the war between the Godzillas and the Kongs, and he might want to start a new war with his ancient foe and maybe Kong too.
The new kaiju looks like the Beast Titan from Attack on Titans in the teaser but a million times bigger!

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is an upcoming American monster film directed by Adam Wingard. A sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), it will be the fifth film in Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse, the 38th film in the Godzilla franchise, the 13th film in the King Kong franchise, and the fifth Godzilla film to be completely produced by an American film studio.
Due to the box office and streaming success of Godzilla vs. Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic, Legendary announced a sequel in March 2022 and that filming would commence later in the year.
In May 2022, it was announced that Wingard would return to direct and Dan Stevens cast as the lead. Filming began in July 2022 in Gold Coast, Queensland, and finished in November 2022. The film is scheduled to be released on March 15, 2024.
