Final Fantasy 14 to hold its ninth annual 14-hour broadcast on April 12 & 13

Final Fantasy 14 players are most looking forward to the upcoming Dawntrail DLC which will be released on July 2. Until then, fans are gearing up for the ninth annual 14-hour broadcast featuring discussions on Dawntrail, player creations and more.

Final Fantasy 14 will be hosting its annual 14-hour broadcast on April 12th and 13th. It will be led by director and producer Naoki Yoshida. The broadcast will begin with an introduction by Yoshida and the development team.

This year’s broadcast is special because it will mark the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy 14 since its relaunch. Post the anniversary celebrations, the game will begin the early access phase for the upcoming Dawntrail expansion. The DLC is scheduled for release on July 2nd.

Here’s the 14-hour broadcast schedule for Final Fantasy 14:

  • 11:00 PM: Introduction
  • Midnight: Letter from the Producer LIVE Part 80
  • 3:00 AM: Show Us Your IRL Minions!
  • 4:30 AM: The Primals Tenth Anniversary: Looking Forward and Back
  • 6:30 AM: A Stroll with Yoshi-P
  • 10:00 AM: Developers’ Roundtable Discussion
  • Secondary Broadcast: Let’s Give the FF14 TTRPG a Go! (11:30 PM to 10:00 AM)

As you can see above, there’s plenty of content planned for the 14-hour broadcast. There will be seven total segments with short intervals in between each segment. You can stream the entire event on YouTube and Twitch.

After the introduction, the 80th Letter from the Producer will begin at 12:00 AM EST until 2:30 AM. The talk will be centered around the Dawntrail expansion and cover new details. There’s also an entire segment for pet pictures from Final Fantasy 14 players.

Surely, there are thousands of players patiently waiting for the Dawntrail expansion. Since its release is a few months away, fans can get a good idea of what exactly to expect from the DLC. Make sure to tune in on April 12 and 13!
