A new exclusive clip for Fast & Furious 9 shows the gang racing through a field full of landmines. The film debuted internationally on May 19 and has garnered mixed reviews so far, with praise for the plot and direction.
Although the movie’s U.S. release on June 25 is still quite far away, fans can now get a look at it via a new and exclusive action-filled clip. The official YouTube page for The Fast Saga released the footage as part of Universal’s promotional partnership with Cameo, which will allow fans to win personalized messages from the movie’s cast.
The clip shows Roman, Dom, Tej, and Ramsey racing against military vehicles through a jungle infested with deadly landmines as they desperately try to out-speed the explosions. It is the sort of adrenaline rush imbuing, high-octane actions the franchise has become known for and provides an exciting glimpse at what’s to follow in the upcoming installment.
Landmines, though, will be the least of the crew’s worries as F9 also includes rocket cars, super magnets, spy planes, and family drama. However, the series’ long-running race against elevating action sequences has sparked questions about how the franchise can outdo itself with only two more movies to go.
But if the previous movies are any indication, the creators will definitely find a way to outmaneuver the past.
Following Hobbs & Shaw’s critical failure, F9 has renewed hope of a return back to the franchise’s original form. The return of Sung Kang’s Han and director Justin Lin has also been received well by fans.
Moreover, there have been rumors of Universal looking into a Fast and Furious/ Jurassic World crossover, which has set the internet ablaze, with many wondering how it could be made possible.
But if it does happen, it’ll be an interesting treat to look forward to. For now, the release of Fast and Furious 9 should suffice to keep fans on their toes.

Dominic Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian. But they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, the threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver ever seen: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob.
