‘All of Us Are Dead’ season 1 ends with many individuals preserving their human side while gaining heightened senses of smell, agility, etc. However, their craving for human flesh becomes unbearable after a certain time.

We expect season 2 to dissect these characters and delve deeper into their life as a human-zombie blend. Moreover, fans are excited to learn more about Nam-ra’s journey and her newfound allies.

The finale confirms that Nam-ra has become a zombie-human hybrid, raising several questions. How will she deal with this paradigm shift? Will she infect her classmates? Are there others like her in her vicinity?

The final scene of season 1 confirms that Nam-ra isn’t alone as she claims to hear ‘them.’ It indeed raises serious questions about the safety of her friends.

In February 2022, director Lee Jae-kyoo described season 2 as a tale of ‘the survival of the zombies.’ Read his quote below:

Many directions, settings and scenes were intentionally produced to expand the story into an additional season, including the introduction of the new races of zombies — immune and immortal. If the first season can be seen as having presented humanity’s survival, the next season can talk about the survival of zombies. I hope to present viewers with another season.

All of Us Are Dead’ season 2’s filming will not start until late 2023 or early 2024. Therefore, we can’t expect season 2 to release anytime before December 2024 or early 2025. The makers might follow season 1’s pattern and release the sequel in January 2025.

Fortunately, SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes have had little effect on the production of All of Us Are Dead season 2 because most of the work occurs in South Korea.

However, fans of the zombie thriller may have to wait a bit longer for the next installment, as the cast is busy with other projects and commitments, so the filming will not commence until late 2023 or early 2024.

This means that the earliest possible release date for ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 would be December 2024, considering the time required for post-production.

Alternatively, the show may follow the same pattern as Season 1, which premiered in January 2022, and launch in January 2025.

The excitement for Season 2 of ‘All of Us Are Dead’ touched a different level when Netflix released a tantalizing teaser-trailer in June 2022.

The teaser shows a hoard of zombies swarming like crazy bees, and then the number 2 appears on the screen, red with blood. Intriguing, isn’t it?

Although it wasn’t an official trailer with new scenes, the 17-second clip was enough to raise the adrenaline levels of the fans!

Netflix should follow its usual pattern of releasing the trailer for ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 two months before its launch date, as it has done for some of its other shows.

For Season 1, three trailers came out at different times. The first was a brief teaser that revealed the release date on December 31, 2021, followed by an official trailer on January 7, 2022. The final trailer was unveiled on January 14, 2022, just a fortnight before the premiere of Season 1. Will season 2 follow a similar timeline? Let’s wait and watch!

Got the rare talent to binge an entire show in a single sitting just like that. Although a sucker for psychological thrillers, no bias for any genre when it comes to a good story. A living proof that Netflix and chill is not a myth!
