In episode 11, titled “No Matter How Many Lives,” Nezuko saved the slayers from Gyutaro’s blood sickles attack. Inosuke and Tengen were close to death, but Nezuko saved them using her Blood Demon Art.
Tanjiro witnessed Gyutaro and Daki fuss about each other’s carelessness in the fight. The episode explained the backstory of Gyutaro and his sister before becoming demons.
The Serpent Hashira showed up late and was unempathetic by the Sound Hashira’s achievement. Ubuyashiki felt there was finally a chance to defeat the demon king in his generation.

Episode 11 Discussion and Speculations
The Entertainment District Arc gave us a burst of energy with the characters, and I’m happy I witnessed the epic showdown. I like when Tanjiro shows affection to demons as they die after all the cruelty he faces.
With the second season of Demon Slayer wrapped up, fans can’t wait for the next frontier. Will the slayers get a break before they get the next mission? The animation style in this arc went beyond the roof, and I can’t wait to see what the slayers will face next.
How will the Upper Demon’s meeting end up, considering how the events played out with the Upper Six? With the announcement for the next arc decided, the Upper Rank will keep a keen eye on Tanjiro as the slayers visit the Swordsmith Village.
The next hashira we’ll get to see is the Love Hashira along with the Mist Hashira. Now that Tanjiro and the slayers have fulfilled their mission in the Entertainment District Arc, let’s wait and see what develops in the next season.
Episode 12 Release Date
There is no release date for further episodes of Demon Slayer as of now. The announcement for the next arc in season 3 reveals the adaptation of The Swordsmith Village Arc.
Considering the flow of the series I presume season 3 is to hit the screens in 2023 at the earliest. So stay tuned for any updates on the anime.
1. Is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on Break This Week?

Episode 11 Recap
This episode starts with Nezuko saving the slayers from the blood sickles explosion with her Blood Demon Art. Later, Tanjiro wakes up and finds Zenitsu back to his whiny self, but Inosuke is at the brink of death due to the poison.
To Tanjiro’s surprise, Nezuko heals Inosuke with her powers and then heals Tengen as well, burning the poison away. Afterward, Tanjiro collects a sample of the Upper Rank’s blood for Ms. Tamayo and then finds the heads of two demon siblings.
With Daki and Gyutaro arguing, Tanjiro coves Gyutaro’s mouth and tells him it’s better to get along in the end than fight. He says they only have each other’s support, for the world won’t forgive them for their misdeeds. Gyutaro recalls Daki’s real name was Ume.
He then thinks about the life he and his sister had growing up. Gyutaro had a miserable life in the district, but that changed when Ume was born since she was pretty in appearance. Things were going fine until Gyutaro and Ume were attacked due to actions against a samurai.
As they were close to death, the Upper Six of that time gave them blood and made them demons. With Gyutaro dying, he meets Ume in the afterlife and wants nothing to do with her. Ume reminds the promise he made to be together, which makes Gyutaro care for her.
Afterward, the Serpent Hashira appears, which is a bit late, according to Tengen and his wives. The hashira speaks with an unimpressive tone about them defeating the Upper Six. Tengen states he’s retiring, which makes Obanai speak of the dire situation in the Demon Corp.
The Sound Hashira, not concerned about the situation, says a youngster is reaching the potential of a hashira. Obanai was in disbelief when Tengen referred to Tanjiro.
Meanwhile, Ubuyashiki states this is an omen bringing change after hearing the news. He further says the slayers will defeat the demon king in his generation.
The scene then shows Akaza in the Infinity Castle realizing the reason he’s summoned is due to an Upper Rank being killed by the Demon Corp.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 and ended in May 2020 with 23 collected tankōbon volumes.
In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.
As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
