In episode four, titled “Take 04,” Leslie got ordered to be part of the assassination mission as he knows about it. Shigure found out about Leslie’s life in the episode and faced an unknown person.
Hayden found out about platoon 11 trying to eliminate El-Cee and planned to take out Shigure. Leslie and Shigure faced Hayden and managed to evade his plan. In the end, Hayden is determined to make sure El-Cee will be in their hands.

Episode 5 Discussion
With Vera making Leslie join the assassination mission, a lot more was revealed in episode four.
Deep Insanity: the Lost Child series is on a slow pace with its plot, but even though viewers have started to see it, they seem to feel there isn’t an in-depth detail for the story yet.
Hayden has had some connection with platoon 11 in the past. What happened to make him leave the Antarctic Front? Was there a conflict of interest with Vera and Leslie when Hayden was on the team?
To think El-Cee is important in the series gives the feeling she can help humanity advance, or she’s causing something we’re yet to find out. Let’s wait and see what the series brings in the next episode.
Episode 5 Release Date
Episode 5 of the Deep Insanity the Lost Child anime, titled “Take 05”, has been released on Tuesday, Nov 09, 2021.

Episode five of Deep Insanity the Lost Child will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.
Episode 4 Recap
This episode starts with platoon 11 carrying out a task in the Asylum, and they come across a cultist. Larry explains to Shigure that it’s one type of Exile in the Asylum and is considered an enemy. Leslie takes on the cultist and manages to scare it off.
On returning, Sumire mentions to Leslie that Vera wants to see him, but Shigure replies he understood recalling the assassination mission. The platoon sees Shigure mistook the talk and heads back to their dorm.
Later, Leslie meets Vera, and she tells him to get things ready for the secret mission in a month since he knows about it now. Not happy about doing such a crime, Leslie agrees because Vera can’t assure his safety as he knows about the mission.
In the meantime, members of platoon 11 talks about Leslie’s character and how he’s a mystery in some ways. Later checking out some files, Shigure and the members find some pictures of Leslie and Vera and get astonished. Shigure’s curiosity catches an individual on the screen.
Later, Vera checks on a weapon while talking to a mysterious person. They talk about the mission and when it will happen. On the mainland, Hayden is seen in his office and gets visited by Nadia. They talk about different organizations finding the star child.
Nadia mentions only a few people and platoon 11 are taking action with the information. Hearing this, Hayden feels it will be easy to handle if that’s the case. At the Antarctic front, Leslie finds Shigure and asks Shigure to grab a drink with him.
Leslie and Shigure talk about the secret mission, and Leslie reminds Shigure of a rule to follow orders, or it will kill him. Leslie mentions he isn’t sure what is right, but Shigure’s decision might save someone.
As Leslie heads to the washroom, Shigure gets a call, and he finds Nadia in the corridor. Nadia runs away, and Shigure follows her. Trying to see who the girl is, Shigure gets ambushed by cultists. Leslie reaches in time, and they both take down the cultist.
Later as they try to understand the situation, Hayden appears with a motive. Leslie realizes that he knows about the mission and wants to kill Shigure. Leslie tells Shigure to escape. While Shigure escapes, he gets confronted by Nadia, and she doesn’t let him through.
Leslie gets caught in gunfire, and one of Hayden’s shots causes an explosion. Hearing this, Shigure is determined to check on Leslie. Shigure tricks Nadia and heads back to Leslie. Shigure tries to stop Hayden from killing Leslie but breaks a pipe to hide in the fog.
Hayden then mentions before he leaves, he’ll see them again. Leslie then asks Shigure why he came back when he told him to escape. He replies he didn’t want him or Leslie to die and understands that Leslie had connections with Hayden before.
Meanwhile, back at Hayden’s office, Nadia points out how what they tried to do was a failure. Hayden thinking about the situation, mentions that El-Cee will be theirs.
