Deadpool 3 Set Photos Confirm an X-Men Character Return

Set photos and leaks suggest that Deadpool 3 will bring elements from the Fox X-Men Universe to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The major Fox X-Men character that will appear in Deadpool 3 is Wolverine.

However, he will not be alone as his arch-enemy Sabretooth will also be making a grand comeback!

Wolverine will be one of many Fox X-Men members to make a comeback in Deadpool 3.

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe absorbing the Deadpool franchise, many Fox Universe elements will be introduced to the MCU. The latter has already dropped many hints, including media posts by stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds and releasing set photos of Wolverine in a comic-inspired costume with his black-and-red-clad partner.

Moreover, recently released set photos by Mirror reveal that another arch-enemy of Wolverine will also play a prominent role in the movie.

In the photos, Wolverine is seen locking horns with Sabretooth and an anonymous body lying in the background. Another photo shows the gruesome image of Wolverine holding the decapitated head of Sabretooth by his hair.

The Mirror’s report also states that the X-Men villain, Toad, was also seen on set, but he doesn’t appear in any of the set photos.

Sabretooth is one of Wolverine’s arch-enemies and first appeared in X-Men, where he was played by Tyler Mane. Liev Schreiber later brought the character to life in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which also introduced Deadpool to the world of X-Men.

However, that version of Deadpool was short-lived and perished in Deadpool 2 when the Merc with a Mouth brutally killed him.

Wolverine’s first encounter with the Sabretooth happened in the original X-Men when they locked horns in a snowy forest, similar to the one in the set photos.

One theory uses Deadpool’s time-travelling shenanigans and predicts that Deadpool will travel back in time and meet Logan while he is defending Rogue from Sabretooth.

This theory may not hold, as the original scene had a giant blanket of snow in the background. However, snow can always be added through CGI.

With Wolverine battling the onset of amnesia, a time-travelling Deadpool seems like the perfect partner for the superhero. Regardless of the reason, Sabretooth’s return and his clash with Deadpool are things we are really excited to see!
