Dead by Daylight has collaborated with an unexpected Ubisoft title

Dead by Daylight has been one of the fan-favorite titles in the multiplayer horror genre. The developers have brought out a new and unexpected cross-over, ensuring the gameplay stays fresh.

Developers Behavior Interactive has announced three new skins based on Rainbow Six Siege Operators in Dead by Daylight. Adam Francis will equip Waimi’s Suit, Felix Richter will get the Blitz Uniform, and Renato Lyra get the Tubarao skin.

The Waimi Suit and the Blitz Uniform will be very rare. The Tubarao Skin will get a Legendary status. Remember that these are merely skins for existing characters in Dead by Daylight and not completely new additions to the roster.

In the reveal video, fans have spotted the skins to be worn down to some extent. This is especially noticeable in Richter’s Blitz Uniform, which seems to have gone through quite a muddy patch.

The Rainbow Six Siege crossover is not unlikely but very uncharacteristic. This is because Dead by Daylight generally collaborates and brings out crossover content only with games, TV shows, or animes in horror or gore.

Previously, Behavior Interactive had collaborated with franchises like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, Halloween, Stranger Things, and The Ring. As a result, many fans were taken by surprise when the developers collaborated with a shooter game.

This collaboration highlights the cohesive nature of the gaming industry, where expect the unexpected is the norm. This, however, is not a first. The developers had earlier collaborated with the famous anime Attack on Titan, which technically does not fall into the horror genre.

The fan reception to the collaboration has been positive so far, making it a relatively successful move by the developers. It will be interesting to see what partnerships await the Dead by Daylight franchise in the coming days.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer survival horror online game developed by Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive.
