In Dead by Daylight’s latest teaser for Chapter 31, we see a first-person POV of the inside of a tent that soon turns into a bloody, gruesome massacre. Skinwalkers are popular in North American Witchcraft lore. They are known to mimic the voice of those known by their victims and even change their appearance to look more human-like.

Fans have been analyzing the relatively short teaser since it came out and have concluded from the “help me” and the sagging pale skin on the killer’s face.

As discussed by the community, other possibilities are a wendigo, SCP, or an original and new concept. This paves the way for Dead By Daylight to expand its gameplay horizons.

Players are waiting with bated breath for this character who promises to take their breath in more ways than one. @DbdNewsReal on Twitter has revealed that the chapter name will be “Tears of Fear.”

The speculated release date is March 12th, 2024. Fans are enjoying Alan Wake in Dead By Daylight, and most of the fan base is looking forward to Dead by Daylight’s possible rendition of the Skinwalker.
