No, Dandadan Season 2 is not on a break this week. Episode 5 is not delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Recap of Episode 4 of Dandadan Season 2

The volcano blew up last episode and the creepy Kito family blamed Momo for it, hell-bent on sacrificing her to stop it. Momo, who figured out that isn’t the issue, decided to use the worm’s slime, while dragging its body around like a giant water hose to slow down the lava. Yes, it was disgusting. But it kind of worked.

Then things got worse. Evil Eye Jiji returns and starts attacking everyone. Momo, the Kito grandma, and even the local priest (who’s somehow Seiko’s student?) tried to stop him, but they didn’t stand a chance. Just when they were about to lose, Seiko showed up with Taro and the Mantis Shrimp Alien. Their trump card move was Taro dismantling and wrapping himself around the Evil Eye, sealing it inside Jiji’s body.

Momo remembered Okarun was still missing and ran to Jiji’s house ruins, found a block of hardened lava, and used worm slime to break it open. Inside, she found Okarun and Turbo Granny alive, gross, and very lucky.

3.  Speculation of Episode 5 of Dandadan Season 2

With the town (barely) intact and the Evil Eye technically sealed but still kicking inside Jiji, next episode might give us a break from all the fights. Expect rest, food and whatever is going to happen with Jiji and Evil Eye to not be as simple as it seemed.

Momo Ayase is a high school student who believes in ghosts, but her classmate Okarun believes in aliens instead. To determine who is correct, they make a bet and decide to visit locations associated with both the occult and the supernatural separately.

Ayase visits places related to ghosts, while Okarun visits sites about aliens. When they reach their respective areas, they discover they are only half-right. It turns out that both aliens and ghosts exist.
