Code 8: Part II is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 sci-fi hit Code 8, starring cousins Robbie and Stephen Amell as Connor Reed and Garrett Kelton.

1. Code 8: Part II Ending Explained

I. The Raid of Garrett’s Warehouse
Officer Stillman leads the entire police force when they raid Garrett’s warehouse, where Pav is held captive.
In a climactic confrontation, Connor confronts Garrett, who reveals that he has been working with the Trust and plans to sell Pav to them.
Moreover, Garrett reveals that he was the one who killed Nia and hired an assassin to murder Pav in order to eliminate any witnesses. In the end, Garrett shoots Connor in the chest and leaves him for dead.
II. The Mysterious Assassin
The mysterious assassin turns out to be none other than Nia’s father, who attacks Garrett and tries to seek revenge for Nia’s death.
However, he is killed by Stillman, and he tries to escape with Pav. In a pivotal turn of events, we realize that Connor is not dead. Thanks to his collar, the bullet is absorbed, and he is alive.
Pav uses her power to stop time, and Connor escapes with Pav.
III. Connor’s Ultimate Sacrifice
Pav and Connor flee to a nearby rooftop, where they are cornered by Stillman and his men. Stillman orders them to surrender, threatening death if they resist. In a pivotal turn of events, Connor sacrifices himself to save Pav. He uses his power to create a massive electrical explosion, instantly killing Stillman and his men and destroying the collar factory below.
Pav, who is protected by her power, survives the blast and watches as Connor dies in her arms.
IV. The Outcome of the Referendum
The film ends with a news report that states that the referendum on banning powers was rejected by a narrow margin, and the public is outraged by the police brutality exposed by the death of Connor.
Moreover, Pav is taken to a foster home, and she uses her powers to save other people with superpowers.
The film’s final shot focuses on a smiling Pav as she looks at the photo of Nia and Connor and honors their memory.
