CoD: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s Season 1 Reloaded release time confirmed

The developers are bolstering the call of Duty Modern Warfare 3’s underwhelming launch and making amends to ensure the players enjoy the multiplayer and single-player gameplay.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s upcoming Season 1 Reloaded will be released on January 17^th at 9 AM PT across all consoles.

This mid-season update had been teased late last year and was scheduled to drop sometime in January. Activision and Sledgehammer have revealed that there will be new game modes, a crossover with the famous TV series The Boys, and a new 6v6 Multiplayer map.

One of the most significant inclusions is the new 6v6 multiplayer map called Rio. This new Core map brings players to a street fight in an upscale shopping center. It is a medium-sized map, allowing plenty of opportunities for closed-quarter fights and a centrally raised area that rewards players who like to take a slightly unconventional King of The Hill approach.

The three hotly anticipated new modes are Team Gunfight, Headquarters, and Infected. Team Gunfight is a 6v6 gameplay across all multiplayer maps, and the match starts with a randomized loadout.

Headquarters is reminiscent of an older Call of Duty mission wherein players must hold positions for as long as possible. However, the catch here is that respawns are turned off for the defending team.

Infected is a bit more interesting, with a random player assigned as the infected whose goal is to eliminate and transform all other players into infected Operators who switch over to the infected side.

Activision has also confirmed that fallen Operators will drop doses of Temp V from the Boys, giving temporary power boosts to players like Heat Vision. There is also a set of six challenges as a part of The Boys: Super Siege Event Challenge.

One exciting change to the gameplay is that players can choose to exfil the match early if they can afford it using the Covert Exfil feature. All these changes will make Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone more exciting and enjoyable to play.
