  • A player has spotted an interesting and funny message from a developer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
  • The message was spotted on a magazine on the shelf in the Rio map when the player scoped in.
  • This discovery has the community divided, with some calling it a good addition while the other half prefer the devs spend time on fixing the buggy weapons.

With the plethora of improvements dished out to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in recent weeks, fans have a better response to the game.

Amidst the new updates raining down on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, u/skipearth noticed a well-hidden message from the developers while inspecting a magazine on a store rack with a scope in the Season 1 Reload map called Rio. The message said “Still reading text on a made-up magazine? Well then, how is your game going? You winning?”

Fans found it quite interesting and hilarious with various parts of the fanbase having different reactions to this easter egg. While some found it hilarious, others took it as an excuse to slander Activision and Sledgehammer some more.

u/chrpskwk commented that someone on the sub will pick on the fact that Activision devs are hiding easter eggs but not fixing the long-requested longbow skull.

The longbow issue is a long-standing debate in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 community which has been worsened by the addition of the outlaw attachment.

However, u/Gundroog lauded the developers responsible for the small details in the Modern Warfare 3 maps. They cited the Derail map which contains micro details like fake products in the stores at the back of the map that makes the game more immersive, despite not contributing anything gameplay-wise.

In other news, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s ranked play will receive two new maps on March 25th. Known as the Vista and Departure, players will be able to access them via the Hardpoint, Control, and Search and Destroy game modes.

Treyarch being at the helm of these changes is ensuring player feedback is taken into account to ensure the poor review issue during Sledgehammer’s reign is resolved and players enjoy the game.
