Summary

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has announced a free trial from February 8th to 12th.
  • The free trial includes nine multiplayer maps available in five multiplayer modes.
  • The most exciting inclusion is the full access to the Modern Warfare Zombies mode.

In an attempt to increase the player count for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which has not fared well in the current gaming sphere, Activision is ramping up marketing and other steps.

Publishers Activision offers a free trial event from February 8th to 12th for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Players can experience nine multiplayer maps, including five modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Team Gun. The most exciting aspect is that the free trial will include complete access to the Modern Warfare Zombies Mode.

Nothing excites players more than free games. Throw some zombies into the mix; you have a sure recipe for success.

Players are most excited for the Zombies gameplay, which is one of the headlining features of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. To allow more players to get a taste of the Zombie mode, there will be a server limit of 24 players.

This means that there will be a total of six players in one squad. The PVE-focused mode has become a fan-favorite since the trial launched.

The multiplayer modes included in the trial are Highrise, Rust, Meat, Shipment, Stash House, Terminal, Rio, Karachi, and Scrapyard.

Players and critics have not been fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 since its launch. It’s practically the same as Modern Warfare 3, with what critics have called “a sluggish storyline” and no change in mechanics.

The free trial hopes to attract new players to the fanbase and fuel Activision’s much-hated one-CoD-title-per-year policy. There are growing speculations of Call of Duty’s upcoming title being a Black Ops feature, arriving in 2025.
