I. Is there a break this week for the Chainsaw Man manga?

No, the Chainsaw Man manga is not on break. Chapter 208 will be released on the above-mentioned date without any delay.

Recap of Chapter 207 of Chainsaw Man

Chapter 207 of Chainsaw Man started with Asa and Denji, both mid-air. Asa was trying to calm a frantic Denji, who was convinced that he didn’t deserve to be happy. He told her that he was treating people just as horribly as he had been treated previously, even while knowing how it felt, which was why he didn’t deserve to be happy. At that point, Asa must’ve felt stupid for asking a panicking Denji to think about happy things.

Asa told Denji that she wants to make him happy, and that she has always wanted to. When Denji asked her how she’d do it, said replied, saying she didn’t know, but she wanted to learn how to do it along with Denji. Right after this, they narrowly dodge a skyscraper that was thrown their way, which was when Asa told Denji that they had to stop the Falling Devil. When she was asked why they had to do it, she said it was because they are superheroes.

Right after this, Yoru took over Asa’s body. Since her previous attacks did not work on the Falling Devil, she decided to combine her powers with that of the Tank Devil, assuming that would be enough to take it down. Her arm then transfigures into a massive and grand cannon. With this, she shot every single weapon she’s owned so far, giving rise to quite the grotesque sight on the ground.

Speculation on Chapter 208 of Chainsaw Man

Since the latest chapter ended with a grand display of Yoru’s power and valor, one might even doubt if Denji is the manga’s protagonist, especially after seeing his pathetic mid-air weeping. Regardless, we can assume that Yoru’s attack has taken care of the Falling Devil.

Much of the fandom is disappointed because of how Chainsaw Man has been releasing very short chapters as of late, particularly chapter 207, which would only take about a minute and a half to read. Some fans also think that Yoru would need to summon an endless supply of weapons to kill the infinitely regenerating Falling Devil, so she may not be dead yet after all.
