In episode four, titled “Nordlinger/Infiltration,” Danji visited the Daybreak office and met with Haruka. Danji requested to speak with his sister Mirei to resolve things.
Haruka mentioned how things are done differently in Daybreak compared to Blackout. Danji understood if he wanted to meet Mirei, he had to defeat Haruka in a Vanguard fight.
Danji won the fight but heard something surprising. Haruka puts a condition for meeting Mirei, and Danji accepts. Team Blackout started their plan to take down Daybreak, and Tohya defeated a group revealing their retaliation.

Danji has found a way to take care of his sister and be close to her. While Danji does not favor Daybreak’s way of doing things, he is looking to settle things differently.
Danji is now at his sister’s side to see how team Daybreak handles things with Vanguard. How will Danji react when he sees what team Daybreak does? Will he stop any wrong acts or resist thinking of his sister?
Team Blackout has started to see that team Daybreak’s plans will not affect how Vanguard is played. Let’s hope to see a good story development as we wait for the following episodes.

Episode 5 of the Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress (2021) anime, titled “Sealed Blaze Maiden/Face Off”, has been released on Monday, Nov 01, 2021.

Episode five of the Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress anime season two will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.
Episode 4 Recap
This episode starts with Danji in front of the Daybreak office trying to enter, and Zakusa tags along. Entering, they see how the atmosphere is in the office with people playing Vanguard. Meeting a guide, Danji requests to meet Haruka.
Later Haruka talking with a colleague is informed that Danji wants to meet her. Danji and Zakusa look at the banners they’ve got and find that they are given to them as support, but Danji thinks otherwise.
Haruka meets Danji, and they have a chat about his reason for the visit. Trying to find if Mirei got the keychain he sent, a person argues that his team has fallen apart after Daybreak took their banner.
Haruka goes to solve the issue and later catches up with Danji. Danji talks about his reason and questions what’s happening with Mirei and how Daybreak deals with things. Haruka explains how there should be one banner and how Vanguard should be under one group.
Danji tells Haruka he’s come back to see things like a big brother and speak to his sister Mirei. Haruka tells Danji to have a card fight to decide if he can talk to Mirei.
Starting their Vanguard game, Haruka rides Wells with activating its skill. Setting additional cards, they both place their layout in the game. Haruka and Danji talk about how Daybreak and Blackout are different as Daybreak has control.
Using Nordlinger, Haruka attacks Danji’s Vanguard with extra power. Danji resorts to his final moves, draws Deryck and Maimai. Replacing Maimai with Stanner Danji adds more cards to the fight and finishes the match with Haruka.
After the match, Haruka mentions that Danji has been dead since he left Mirei and the Minae family. Haruka then tells even, so Daybreak needs Danji as he offers odd-jobs assistance. Haruka reveals that Danji can meet his sister but sets a condition.
Haruka states that Danji will be Mirei’s bodyguard and does not reveal that Danji is her brother. Understanding he’ll get to be with Mirei, Danji thanks Haruka.
Later, Haruka has an ulterior motive to use Danji to evaluate the Vanguard games by monitoring him. Danji then meets his sister in the studio and introduces himself as her bodyguard.
Meanwhile, team Blackout wins a Vanguard fight and requests the group to give up their banner and leave. Tohya reveals that team Blackout is not going to let Daybreak do whatever they like.
