In episode 10, titled “Awakening of Chakrabarthi/Flight,” Daybreak and Blackout faced their second match, and it was Shinobu against Yu-yu.
The match began to a fair start for Yu-yu but got tricky in the middle. Shinobu was cocky while playing the Vanguard fight. Yu-yu recalled how he had started playing Vanguard, bounced back with an unexpected move, and defeated Shinobu.

Episode 11 Discussion
The brawl between Daybreak and Blackout is playing out nicely, and soon we’ll see the tournament results. Even though Yu-yu got nervous, he defeated Shinobu and put him in his place.
The third match will bring Tomari against Masanori, which will definitely be exciting. What will team Blackout face next as they try to defeat Daybreak? Will Tomari manage to defeat the sly man, Masanori?
Just two more episodes, and we’ll see how Mirei will be shown what reality is like. I feel there might be some twist in the end with Danji and someone familiar. As things develop for team Blackout and Daybreak, Let’s see what the following episodes bring us.

Episode 11 of the Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress anime season 2 will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.
Episode 10 Recap
This episode starts the second match between Daybreak and Blackout. For the second match, Yu-yu goes up against Shinobu. They then begin their Vanguard fight. Shinobu starts with Greedon and uses its skills.
Yu-yu rides with Reiyu and Trickstar and sets up his deck. As Shinobu states about the consequence of losing, Yu-yu recalls what Mirei said before and knows he has to win. Shinobu uses his Greedon’s skill and combines the cards on the deck to gain more power.
Tohya says to Megumi the way Shinobu uses his cards is corked while watching the fight. With Yu-yu attacked, he gets to damage check but doesn’t get any unique cards. Yu-yu then rides Nirvana and plans to end the match.
Meanwhile, Masanori is seen with Mirei talking about a story that portrays two friends fighting each other to win at the cost of being alone. Yu-yu prepares Trickstar with Nirvana and upgrades it with overdress.
He then tries to trigger check but gets anxious about getting good cards. Even though Yu-yu gets a critical trigger, it doesn’t finish the match. Shinobu then increases his Greedon’s damage points, making Yu-yu more nervous.
Yu-yu defends his deck from Shinobu’s attacks. Shinobu then reveals the second combination of Greedon with the deck and gains greater power since he began. He throws a powerful attack, but Yu-yu uses a perfect guard.
Yu-yu is close to defeating Shinobu and hopes to get lucky with his last few turns. Looking at the situation, Yu-yu feels like he has lost but gets motivated, recalling how he started playing Vanguard. He then draws a grade four card and brings Nirvana to its max level.
This gives Yu-yu an advantage, and the match is in his favor. As Yu-yu triple checks, he gets critical cards and uses them to finish with Valiente’s multiple attacks. The second round is over, and Yu-yu wins the match.
Mirei finds Masanori’s presence disturbing as he thinks the story they spoke about can be changed. She requests her brother and sends Masanori off. Danji is seen with Haruka after she loses the match, but she leaves knowing that she’s not needed anymore.
He returns to his sister, and she states she’s strong as she’s the king even if the others lose this tournament. Yu-yu, Megumi, and Tohya are seen going to the next level. Masanori is waiting for them and asks who’s going up against him.
