Kyutaro looks after Miri in episode 5, titled “Crunch Time”. Worried about their bank account, Kazuki and Rei pleads Kyutaro to give them work.

However, to their bad luck, the daycare where Miri goes shuts down for a few days and thus, they have to look after her at home. Taking care of a kid and working simultaneously begins to take a toll on them.

Kyutaro reveals that he always knew about Miri. He warns them about raising a kid with their jobs but after spending time with Miri and seeing the determination in them both, he allows them to be with her.

Episode 6 Speculation

Kyutaro is now aware of the whole situation about Miri but he has given his approval to the duo. Since Miri seems to like spending time with Kyutaro, he might be able to take care of her in the future while Kazuki and Rei are on their jobs.

Kyutaro mentions Rei knowing the consequences of betraying their organization so it seems that his dad might be connected to it in some way or another. We might be getting more information about his and Kazuki’s past soon. Ogino also knows about Miri now, even though he doesn’t her connection to the duo, so he might create problems in the future.

Episode 5 Recap

Due to their piling expenses and not getting any work, Kazuki and Rei begs Kyutaro to give them a job. Kyutaro gives them a few intelligence mission since they botched their last assassination attempt.

Kazuki is confident that they will finish them in the given deadline, but to his horror, he gets a call from Miri’s daycare and they tell them that it would be shut for a few days. Miri asks them about their jobs as part of her homework but they evade her question.

Since they have to look after Miri during the day now, they pull several all-nighters. Exhaustion gets the best of them and Kazuki decides to ask Kyutaro for help for their mission.

The next day, Kazuki goes to Kyutaro’s café while telling Rei to look after Miri. Rei falls asleep and Miri follows Kazuki quietly, excited to know more about his job. However, she loses her way and wanders somewhere else.

Rei calls Kazuki telling about the missing Miri and they both rush to find her. Miri coincidentally ends up in front of Kyutaro’s café and bumps into Ogino.

Kazuki starts imagining the worst and Rei tells him to calm down. They go to Kyutaro’s café to have a drink and finds Miri there, to their surprise. Miri calls Kazuki papa as soon as she sees her and he rushes to hug her but realizes Kyutaro is there.

Kazuki lies to Kyutaro about babysitting for extra money. Kyutaro looks suspiciously and offers to babysit her while they complete their job, after Kazuki finally admits that they are behind on their job.

Kyutaro is good with kids so she has a good time with him. When she questions him about Kazuki and Rei’s jobs, he lies to him that Kazuki is a struggling stand-up comedian and Rei is a Middle Eastern oil baron. Kyutaro asks Miri if she wants to go back home but she tells him that she loves Kazuki and Rei and will be with them forever.

Kazuki is afraid of leaving Miri with Kyutaro for so long since Kyutaro is good with ladies, and Miri might blurt something about them even though he told her not too, they complete their jobs as soon as possible. They find Miri sleeping peacefully in the café. Kazuki hands over their work and Kyutaro reveals that he had already known the whole situation. Kazuki is horrified.

Kyutaro warns them about raising Miri while handling their dangerous job, since Rei especially knows the consequences of betraying the organization. However, he sees the determined look in their eyes and tells them that he does’t mind it as long as it doesn’t affect their work. He tells them not to regret their decision.

Miri represents her report to her day care and all the mothers immediately starts texting each other, mistaking Kazuki and Rei to be billionaires after what Kyutaro told Miri.
