The Holy Night Banquet kicks off in episode 12 of Bibliophile Princess titled, “The Holy Night’s Banquets Where The Butterflies Dance”. Sharon tried to be Christopher’s partner again but the situation gets resolved as the truth of Mireille’s letter comes out. Elianna and Christopher are the stars of the banquet while Elianna dons a stunning red dress, dyed by the queen herself.
Christopher reveals a garden filled with beautiful light decorations on Christmas trees which he told Elianna uses the nocturnal ink she created. They share a kiss and the series ends with the couple going on a walk together.

Recap of Episode 12
After consoling her, Christopher tells Elianna how much he loves her and they are about to kiss but gets interrupted by Sharon and his other attendants. Sharon once again asks Elianna to let her be Christopher’s partner at the Banquet however, this time, she proposes a trade and tells her she will let her borrow the ship’s log of Captain Vigo in exchange.
Elianna is tempted but looks at Christopher’s expression and refuses the trade. Christopher asks Sharon whether everything she is doing is due to her own will or the Miseral Dukedom’s.
Sharon tries to explain her actions as she is doing everything for Mireille but Elen scolds her for straining the relationship between Miseral and Sauslind due to her selfish desires and tells her to apologize to Elianna.
Christopher tells Sharon that she has misjudged Elianna as he lists all the things she has done for the people and the kingdom, including the advancement of the research regarding the “Ashen Nightmare” remedy. Sharon asks Christopher why then, the “Yule Lovers” story is so heavily rumored to be of Christopher and Mireille’s.
Christopher explains that the dukes of Miseral caused damage to national interest and in order to regain their honor, they used Mireille as the scapegoat. He speculated that they killed Duke Lamond, Mireille’s husband, and spread the story to divert attention.
Christopher received a letter from Miereille because they often made mutual deals and she told Christopher they will settle their dukedom’s problems on her own. She even congratulated him on his marriage to Eli.
Elen apologizes to Christopher and Elianna on Sharon’s behalf and Elianna remarks this situation reminds her of the story “The Piglet’s Dimple”.
The day of the Holy Night Banquet finally arrives. Elianna and Christopher enter the hall and greet the king and queen. Everyone compliments Elianna on her beauty and Christopher tells her that her dress was dyed by the queen using the Milulu clams. The queen expressed her worries over Elianna getting her dress design stolen earlier and tells her to protect herself as well.
Eli realizes that the queen is worried about her and thanks her while addressing her as ‘mother’ which elicits an embarrassed but happy blush from her. The Queen also fills her in on the situation with Sara. Chris’s father, the king, and his uncle, Theodore, also tell her to address them informally but that may take more time for Elianna.
The king commends her for her efforts for the Azul region and tells her he will grant her a reward. Elianna tries to refuse but Christopher reminds her of her countless achievements and tells her to not be so modest. Elianna asks the king to grant her a short break so that she can catch up on her books and the king happily grants her a vacation.
After Elianna and Christopher dance together, Christopher takes her outside. He apologizes to her for not keeping his promise to allow her to read comfortably but Elianna assures her that she is happy to do everything she can as his fiancée. As the night draws to a close, he reveals a special gift for her.
Everyone looks in awe as the knights reveal several Christmas Trees covered in dazzling light decorations. Christopher tells Eli that they are made from the nocturnal ink that she created from Milulu clams. This discovery will also become a breakthrough for the substantial increase in fuel costs in winter.
Christopher expresses his sincere gratitude to Eli and both of them tell each other that they look forward to spending the New Year together. The moment is filled with sparkling white as they share a soft kiss.
The series comes to an end with Elianna putting down her book to go on a walk with Christopher.
