Baldur’s Gate 3 will be getting a major update titled “Patch 5” very soon. Larian Studios’ Director of Publishing Michael Douse recently revealed that the physical Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will include the Patch 5 update.
The Patch 5 update will include bug fixes for crime detection, adjustments for Astarion’s kissing animations, and more. Larian Studios has previously released four such major updates spanning over four months after its launch.
The Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will ship with three discs and will be launching in December. The release date for the PS5 version is yet to be revealed. Players can now pre-order the physical version of Baldur’s Gate 3, which is exclusively available on Larian Studios’ official store.
Given the positive reviews, fans are wondering whether Baldur’s Gate 3 will get a DLC anytime in the future. According to rumors, Larian Studios is not completely against DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3. However, there have been reports that the developers are now focusing on another big project.
