Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 Ep 12: Release Date, Speculation

Episode 11 of Attack on Titan, season 4, part 2, titled “Retrospective,” is the latest installment of the anime.

The Jaw Titan made his appearance in this episode. After seeing how the alliance was faltering against the Jeagerists, Falco transformed into the Jaw Titan to help them capture the boat.

Mikasa, Hange, Coni, and Jean’s man-on-man fight coupled with Annie and Reiner’s titans also gave them an edge over their enemies.

We also lost two strong commanders, Magath and Shadis, after they sacrificed themselves. The moment was quite emotional as the two men let go of their differences and accepted death as a price to atone for their sins.

With the Paradis-Marley alliance on its way to the continent, will they assemble the flying boat in time? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 12 Discussion & Speculation

The finale of Attack on Titan is just around the corner, and there’s still a lot to be resolved. The Paradis-Marley alliance will probably manage to assemble the flying boat just in time to escape the rumbling.

We can also expect to see Mikasa and Armin share one last conversation with Eren, where they try to convince him to stop. Eren doesn’t seem to care about saving the world, though, so their talk could potentially end in bloodshed.

Also, we can get to see the effect of rumbling on Marley since, at this point, saving Liberio is next to impossible. It will be interesting to watch whether Mikasa, Armin, and the others will save the world from its doom or die trying.

Magath is distressed as it will be tough to hold back the Jeagerists for half a day, especially when they have reinforcements making their way towards them.

Kiyomi suggests that they could take the boat to the continent, away from Floch and his men, and assemble it there. The downside of this plan is that they must hurry because the Wall Titans could trample them while they build the floating boat.

Magath takes the Azumabito towards the boat without wasting time, asking Reiner and Annie to shield them. They do as told, but soon the Jeagerists start pushing them back. This is when Falco decides that he must turn into the Jaw Titan.

He uses a sharp stick to poke his palm and make it bleed. At first, Pieck is reluctant to let him transform, but Falco runs away on his own. Soon, his transformation is a success, but since it’s his first time as a titan, Falco can’t control himself properly.

His transformation creates a distraction, and most of the allies climb the boat. Onyankopon helps the engineers to fire up the engines while the others protect them from the outside. Soon, Hange spots some enemy reinforcements making their way towards them but are suddenly blown away using bombs.

The boat finally fires up, and Magath helps Falco return to his human form. He then instructs the others to get on board while staying behind to finish off the remaining Jeagerists. As the boat leaves, Magath meets Shadis, who reveals that he was the one who blew off the reinforcements.
