Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been described as a return to the series’ roots. It features a vast open-world setting, RPG elements and mechanics as seen in older titles in the Assassin’s Creed series. One could say that AC Mirage is almost like a historic trip to the past.

Sadly, many felt that it did not manage to recreate the appeal of the previous Assassin’s Creed games. According to players, Assassin’s Creed Mirage lacks in terms of a strong storyline and good characters.

While the response to Assassin’s Creed Mirage was underwhelming, Ubisoft could take it as a lesson for future projects. There are a number of exciting Assassin’s Creed titles lined up for release in the span of the next few years.
