The upcoming episode will be titled “Blessing” and there will be a follow-up to episode 9 at some point. Growing speculation suggests that Myne may be protecting family members. I find it thrilling to see Head Priest going one-on-one with Count Bindewald.

Episode 9 Recap
As Myne travels home with her friends under a knight’s protection, her safety is compromised. Apparently, the noble had been granted re-entry through the gates the day before.
One of the troops stationed on the ground engages Damuel in a verbal spat when he discovers that the captain went to the Cathedral to check on Myne’s safety. When the commotion calms down, the protagonist is unattended, and two men manage to kidnap her and Tuuli.
The kidnappers attempt to get away with the children, but Myne’s father arrives in time and spots them. Without losing a single second, he climbs up one of them and frees Myne.
The blue-robed priestess loses control of her mana, however, when she sees the other thief trying to flee with Tuuli. She threatens to kill him if he tries to put a knife in Tuuli’s neck.
Tuuli is also released, and the two men are captured after being knocked to the ground by her power. Damuel and other friends accompany Myne to the Cathedral.
Everyone is stunned to discover that the High Priest has disappeared. In order to keep some of Myne’s mana, Damuel presents her with a ring.
A contract for Dirk’s adoption is signed by Lord Bindewald in front of Dalia. It will be a great celebration because the High Bishop will be in attendance as well. Those there with Myne, on the other hand, have already deduced that something is amiss.
They confront Bindewald and the High Bishop at the Cathedral. Having missed the chance to meet the priestess in person, the latter wished she would become available.
In addition to adopting Dirk, Bindewald also received a submission contract, much to Dalia’s surprise.
Due to the harsh stipulations, Dirk will be compelled to serve the perverted nobility for much of his later life. In addition to Dalia’s anger, Bindewald has ordered his guards to attack Myne’s companions and herself.
In exchange for a submission pact, similar to that of Dirk, he permits everyone to kill except the blue-robed priestess. In light of Bindewald’s losses in an ambush a few weeks ago, Myne’s surplus mana would seem crucial.
In contrast, Myne does not sit by and watch her people be attacked; rather, she uses her abilities to protect them.
