According to the title, Ashito will respect a player’s defending abilities and will want to learn from him to become a better defender. Eisaku Otomo, a midfielder, is expected to play a role in showing Ashito his defending abilities.

Episode 15 Recap
The title of episode 15 of Ao Ashi is “Where I Ought To Be”. The episode begins with Ashito on the field, striving to be a defense. It was bothering him that he wasn’t where he should be.
This, however, was affecting his focus as a defender, causing him to miss a chance, and as a result, the opposing team scored a goal against them. Meanwhile, Eisaku Otomo takes the chance of showing his defensive skills.
Even though his intellect told him he wasn’t cut out to be a defender, he was able to anticipate the trajectory of a kick and he runs and gets there as quickly as possible. This effort was futile due to his erroneous kick.
After the game, a girl named Anri kaido asks Togashi what the manager Fukuda hopes to achieve by forcing Ashito to play defensively.
She’s the daughter of one of Tokyo City Esperion’s sponsors’ CEO, Denji Kaido and an aspiring football coach and she expresses her desire that she wants to become a coach of a men’s football team even though she doesn’t play the sport herself.
She expresses her opinion that he would be best suited to play in the midfield because of his excellent vision. Motoki then explains to her that she has the mistaken belief that fullbacks are merely for support.
He stated that, while he is not sure what the manager’s ideas are, Togashi and he feels that manager aims to produce a Playmaker out of Ashito, and thus the episode concludes.
