Sony Pictures has released the first look for the romantic comedy Anyone But You. The first poster features the two leads, Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, who have a romantic tension going on. The film is set to hit theaters on December 15.
The upcoming film, directed by Will Gluck, is based on the enemies-to-lovers trope. It follows two arch-rivals who pretend to be in love with each other at a destination wedding. Both of them have ulterior motives but end up falling for each other.
Alongside Powell and Sweeney, the film also stars Alexandra Shipp, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet, Rachel Griffiths, Joe Davidson and others.

The team has not yet released an official trailer or any other promotional material. However, the film garnered a lot of attention after photos from the film’s sets in Sydney, Australia, were posted online.
The lead pair of the film were seen having a good time on the deck of a boat wearing swimsuits, which naturally led to rumors of them dating in real life. Other videos from the set were also released, giving a fair idea of what to expect from the rom-com.
In one video from the sets, Powell is seen shooting a scene where he jumps off a helicopter and confesses his feelings to Sweeney’s character. These leaked videos increased the buzz about the film, so fans are eagerly looking forward to the official trailer.
The film is also expected to be a little bolder than usual romcoms, as it is going to be an R-rated film. We’re not sure which elements in the film require an R-rating instead of the usual PG-13 rating, but the trailer and promos might give a better idea.
