Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is available for free until December 6th

Summary

  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, released in 2015, is available for free download until December 6th.
  • Players must go to the Ubisoft Connect website or the application on PC and claim the free reward.
  • Once the offer is claimed by December 6th at 18:30 local time, the title is for the player to keep.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise had its golden days in 2014-15 when they released two of the most highly rated titles of the franchise in successive years. These were AC: Unity, set in Paris during the French Revolution, and AC: Syndicate, set in London during the Industrial Revolution.

Developers Ubisoft are giving away a free copy of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate right after Black Friday. All players must do is sign up/log in here, and the title will be automatically added to the Ubisoft Connect PC library.

This is an unprecedented move where a developer gives away one of their best-designed games for free. The reason behind this move is yet to be debunked but it is expected to be revealed in the coming few days.

In AC: Syndicate, the Industrial Revolution of 1868 in London is portrayed as it is. The players can play either as Jacob Frye or his twin sister Evie.

This title is one of the few AC titles that are made on a large scale and focus on the more significant battle between the Assassins and the Templars. The two young Assassins try to liberate London from the control of the Templars.

Syndicate brought with it the stealth and immersive experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity. However, it sometimes faltered at the replayability hurdle, as Unity allowed more freedom while doing particular missions.

The base version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is available at USD 23.99. This is now available for free until December 6 at 18:30 local time. Ubisoft promises that once the title is added to the library, players can play it at any point of time in the future.

After AC: Mirage, AC: Unity, and AC: Syndicate are two titles that any enthusiast/fan of the AC franchise should try out. This move by Ubisoft is expected to have a tremendous public response that will direct newcomers toward one of the best titles Ubisoft has produced.

About Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

The ninth main instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise couldn’t be any more gripping than Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The story is set in 1868 London and follows the tale of twin assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, as they plot to eliminate the hold of organised crime and regain control from the Templars.

It was developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Although the foundational premise of the game remains true to the whole series, the exclusive side missions and character introductions let you capture the essence of the Victorian era.
