Witch Watch is back with an extremely funny episode yet again, and this time, we were introduced to the student council of the school, which was filled with characters that matched the typical kind of student council members in manga, which Morihito found comical as well as stupid. Miyao Nemu has also returned to get more coddling from Morihito, only to leave learning that Nico’s life will be in danger in the near future.

2. Recap of Episode 10 of Witch Watch
The latest episode of the anime started with Nico helping her classmates out with her magic as usual, until a rose stalk came flying at her at high speed, which was deflected by Morihito. He thought it was an enemy, but it only turned out to be a very inedcently-dressed member of the student council named Ibara Ibu. She explained that a new rule imposed by the student council prohibited Nico from using her magic within the school premises, which Morihito found outrageous.
Morihito found it quite interesting that the vice president of the student council, Ibara Ibu, perfectly fit the trope of the typical student council with a sexy older sister demeanor. Ibara found this to be quite rude and even told him that all the other members of the student council were also quite upset to hear this rumor (apparently, many other students also had the same opinion). This was followed by the entry of every other student council member from subsidiary vice-presidents to treasurers to other miscellaneous positions, and finally, the president.
Unsurprisingly, all the members perfectly fit different kinds of tropes in typical anime, all of which were really funny and distracting. The student council president, Tenryu Kiyomiya, was also weird in his own way, as he never took his hand off his cap, and the explanation given for this was that this phenomenon was similar to Jotaro’s (from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) hat being permanently stuck to his head. Most of their interactions were quite hilarious, so we urge you to watch the anime to experience this firsthand.
Morihito expressed his displeasure with the student council’s new rule, and Tenryu explained that the rule came to be as Nico helping students out made the student council seem useless, as being useful to the students is one of their responsibilities. However, he also expressed that he was one of the people who were against this motion, since he was grateful to Nico for helping his sister Suzuka. He also assured him that the student council will have another meeting to discuss this issue again. After this matter was settled, Tenryu demanded that Morihito join the student council, as Morihito perfectly fit a particular trope he was looking for.
Morihito declined, but Tenryu wasn’t going to take no for an answer, so Morihito flew away with Nico on her broom, and Tenryu ran around the school to find him. Later, Morihito met his friends and had a discussion about the student council. He even took a look at the student council’s YouTube page and found out that Tenryu was actually very similar to himself, as he was always surrounded by many incompetent people and had to clean up after their messes. This new sense of relatability with the man made it hard for him to dislike him.
Later that day, Miyao Nemu came by Morihito’s house again, and Morihito welcomed her with open arms (clarification: she was in her cat form). Nico accidentally spilled some juice on her, and Morihito gave her a bath. While he brushed her clean, she accidentally fell asleep and transformed back to a human, but no one noticed as everyone was hooked on the program on the screen. Before anyone in the house noticed, she slipped out and ran into the woods.
3. Speculation of Episode 11 of Witch Watch
The latest episode of the anime ended with Miyao Nemu discovering a Warlock deep within the woods. She sensed imminent danger and ran after she overheard the conversation, which revealed that their group would be targeting Waktsuki Nico. She ran back to Morihito’s house to warn Nico about the soon-to-approach threat.
Miyao Nemu’s interaction with Nico would be quite interesting, as we don’t know if she is brave enough to interact with Nico’s group in her human form. Regardless, we can expect Nemu to inform them in some way or the other, as Nico’s life is actually in danger. With this, we can expect Miyao Nemu to also integrate into the main group.
