Capcom just dropped the gameplay trailer for the Switch version of Street Fighter 6. The legendary franchise is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. It is scheduled to release on June 5th, 2025. Street Fighter 2 joins the list of upcoming titles for Nintendo Switch 2. Let’s see if you can play Street Fighter 6 across platforms!
Does Street Fighter 6 have Crossplay?
Street Fighter 6 supports crossplay and cross-platform on all platforms.
This means that you can enjoy Street Fighter 6 with your friends. It doesn’t matter if your team members have the same device or not. Anyone can join the party!
As of now, Street Fighter 6 is only available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, GeForce Now, and Xbox Series X/S.
It is coming to Switch on 5th June, 2025.
Does Street Fighter 6 have Cross-Progression?
Unfortunately, Street Fighter 6 does not support cross-progression. If you switch platforms, you will lose all your progress till date.

Players were delighted by a certain cameo in the video. Elena is being added to the game as a DLC character. If you are looking forward to play as Elena, you can finally do so on June 5th.
Upon purchasing Elena, you will also gain access to a brand-new stage called The Reniala Remains. Fights in this arena will take place in Africa at night.
